Paul this is one more example on how you have helped to greatly improve the live of more people. She may be one of the good ones but your one of the good one also. The Philippines is a better place because of you being there.
Jing has an interesting backstory and high marks on the interview. It must be said, so I'll say it - I think that Jing probably represents the woman that a Western guy imagines when he thinks of his "perfect" Filipina. She's not model-pretty but she's quite attractive, very fit, the right age, demure, intelligent, upbeat, appreciative of what her fiancé has done for her, sweet, etc., etc. She IS the aspirational template. One of the subjects you two talked about was the currently de facto, and soon to be legal, stepson/stepfather relationship regarding her son and her fiancé. I gained my stepson 5 years ago when I married my Pinay in the Philippines (we were living in Tacloban), when he was 11 years old. He's now a 16-year-old boy, and we're in the States now, and will be until he graduates from high school here. My wife was previously a impoverished single mother; like so many other Filipinas, the birth father pulled an immediate Houdini after the boy was born. I had a lot of misgivings about taking on the whole stepfather thing. A lot of apprehension about it. So many horror stories about your house and your marriage turning into a war zone because of the strife generated by a stepchild relationship. Especially when they're teenagers, right? Stress/conflict that I don't need or want. Well.....none of those fears have been realised. It's been great, all of it, me and him and her, we have a great home life, he's very respectful, helpful, a 4.0 student in school, and conscious and appreciative of whatever ways I've improved their lives. He's a great kid, he and I have genuinely happy times together. Now, I can't imagine not having him around.
My stepson was only 3 when I met his Mother. Now 30 plus years later my stepson has served in U.S. military, works for the U.S. govt., and has his own beautiful family. He appreciates everything that happened in his life since his Mother and I met.
@@margarettownsley9500 Jeez, I wasn't picking on her looks, I wrote that she's quite attractive. That's a big compliment, along with all the other compliments I gave her. How is that picking on her? My wife is in the same category - not model-pretty, but still quite attractive. And that's an honest assessment, one that my wife would agree with. In terms of myself, I am not model-handsome; even at the best I ever was decades ago, I wasn't even handsome. And that's an honest assessment, too. Why the over-reaction?
@@biff9999 I don't comment too often on videos. However, I have to say that you gave Jing about every compliment you could think of. Some people have to find something to be negative about. Margaret took four words out of context and seemed to be oblivious to the multiple compliments you gave Jing. You finished it with "She is the aspirational template," the ultimate compliment. You are a good man Biff! You have given your wife a great life and step-son opportunities that he would have never had. Unfortunately, there is always one person who misconstrues everything.
Man, this whole thing puts a smile on my face. She deserved to find her a good man. New Yorkers love pretty hard, so good on Ray for representing us well! Wishing all the best with the channel, congrats on 2k subscribers!
Thank you for your service to us western men making our plans to make the move there. Jing caught my eye and attention right away when the interview started. She’s beautiful, intelligent, great sense of humor and I’m so very happy for her and Ray and her son. Many continued blessings to you all!
Nice job my friend Paul. I am adopted to watch your channel. Actually I am 63 years old ready for retirement I am planning to move and start a new life in the Philippines. i am from South America (Venezuela) but I have been living in USA for 30 years. I can't come back to Venezuela because all the politics issues so I am planing for Philippines. I will be there (visiting) in May and would like to meet in person. Take care my friend .
Paul. Jing is very attractive and absolutely lovely. Easy to see that Jing and Mae are sisters. Both also have the same great personality. She is a real gem. I wish her all the very best for the future. You should interview the rest of Mae's sisters. I have subscribed to Jing's channel.
Nice lady, sure isn't shy having her yabbles hanging out in the breeze. Most Filipinas, especially when they are in a relationship, are more conservative in their attire but to each their own. Good luck to both of them.
Maybe after our marriage, 2-17, we can interview with Jing... We have been requested for an interview as we broke all the typical ex-pat rules... LDR, fully supported my Filipina with money, met her at the airport, engaged and now married... I believe we could get her additional subscribers with our story... I am American
I’m on the same trajectory. Our wedding is 2/04. If we do things right, this is possible, and I keep telling Paul that not all of the failed relationships have to follow conventional wisdom. Happy for you!
There are no rules. Humans are not automatons. Why wouldnt you meet someone you want to make a relationship with at the airport? And who is anyone to tell you how to approach life and relationships? Most of these old dudes setting these rules have been divorced 3 times in the west, and have many failed relationships both there wnd here. Why on earth would you listen to them?😂
Good interview Paul. Jing is a lovely lady and has always exhibited those lady qualities that your wife has shown the RUclips world. Ray is a very fortunate man to have such a jewel in his life. Jing, Ray sounds like a good man, so both of you take good care of yourselves.
So Jing...you finally got together with Paul.....excellent you will definitely move forward with your you tube business. Fantastic. Ray is a lucky man.
She looks similar to my fiancee who also lives in the Philippines. She is very intelligent and has worked as a professional nurse overseas for years. She is a good woman who worries alot about eveyone else but herself. So I am trying to guide her on how to make herself a priority now. Contrary to what alot of American feminists claim, she never asks for money nor gifts. When I tried to buy a gift she would reluctantly accept it and then tells me to never waste money. She is a dream come true because she appreciates me for who I am and not how much I make.
What a lovely girl. I actually know Ray. I’m glad they’re together and happy. Hey Ray, try Paul’s diet as I did. I guess it’s carnivore no carbohydrates not sugar it will change your life and make it one hell of a lot longer. Also, it takes pain away from your knees. I guess it’s a anti-inflammatory kind of deal.
I Love Jing and subscribe to her channel since she interviewed her sister and look forwards to watching her journey. PS. Ray is a Lucky guy as he has a good lady there.
Wonderful interview and lots of laughter.... thank you Paul for sharing this. I appreciate you very much. Stay well, old dog and as always, hello to the lovely Mae and a belly scratch for Tada and Yippee
