No, I still care enough to not want him to suffer, yet he insists on continuing on his road. I am trying desperately to get an earthship home built on my 5 acres in Navajo County AZ, I watch your videos, and I want what you can provide for me. Yes everyone will find a home and brunch to eat and learn to take care of themselves, on some kind of level. But after that there's still gonna be individuals who are not satisfied with that; so it comes down to respect. Respecting other people's individual space, wants and needs to a level of who's the boss and who's not. And also depending on the laws of the lands, because in America everyone's the boss but in other countries thats not that way, but have respect for each others individuality and we'll be all right like the song by the Eurythmics sweet dreams are made of these number one rule to life respectfullness equals Love and many other things

He basically told us to love our neighbor as we do ourselves, which would resolve most of the world's problems in that one commandment. Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day, teach him how to fish and he will eat for life...
I agree. It has also been the trusting and/or apathetic nature of most people who have not maintained an adequate check on their government. More people need to become involved at their local level to understand how decisions are being made. Many times they are made at the behest or bribery of corporate/political interests that are not in line with what is best for the people. At least in the United States, our Constitution provides for We the People to run our government. Not the other way around.
You homeschool and are building an earthship? I homeschool too but live in suburbia. I don't like the suburbs nor the city and want something else but I certainly am NOT handy. Any ideas of backyard projects or things I can do to my current 1960s home? My husband isn't too handy either so we can't just jump into this.
Help them get their own without stealing it. Convince gov to let everyone that wants use about an acre of free tax free land to grow their own food and live on. End taxes on lower middle class. Ban farm subsidies. Automatic irrigation with moisture sensor turns water on and off based on when plants need it, can potentially be made partially from trash and be non electric. Rain collection. Grey water. Food forest. Dwarf food trees. help them set up their garden. Public food forests could be planted. If theres more than enuf food growing all over for everyone to eat from, theyll be less likey to steal. If everyone has enuf air to breathe, people r not fighting over air. When theres scarcity, such as under water without enuf oxygen, or deprived from using land to grow your own food, thats when people r more likely to steal.
There are 2 725 billionaires who have the planet's wealth stashed in the basement of their golden palaces and they are driving the school bus off of a cliff before distributing sandwiches. 3 million of us to every school bus driver who could make every one on the bus millionaires!
