  • This session was recorded (apparently) on May 15th 1972 by Jim Steinman, a mysterious 'Brian', Bette Middler, and god knows who else. It was recorded at Hit Factory in New York and produced by Michael Kamen during the time of the aborted 1972 production of The Dream Engine. It gives an insight into early Steinmania and our first glimpse at what would eventually become the famous "Heaven Can Wait", although the arrangement here is rather outrageous... Like everything else, this has been made to sound better... Enjoy!

I was thinking about this the other day. Train of Love is from 1972 and Meat only recorded that in 2016, 44 years later.
Meat and Jim died basically 44 years after the release of Bat Out Of Hell.
    Quite a coincidence.

"Is there anyone left who can kiss, CHOKE HIM" caught me off guard.
I never knew that an earlier version had that lyric, I was used to the "spit on him".
    Thanks!
