YOU Are Not Using LEROY'S PARRIES CORRECTLY!

The new Tekken 8 system has affected the way you use Leroy's parrys. You can't really spam moves like b3 as much as you could back in Tekken 7 and this changes the way you play the character. It's all about reads

Did not know Hermit 1 was also a parry, here I’m thinking it’s only the low parry out of Hermit

great video, 2 questions but it feels like i parry into normal attacks and it just goes right through, how do i know what kind of moves are parryable or not? and the actual parry window frames, sometimes i can throw that parry in the middle of a combo, and sometimes it feels like it cant come out at all

Firstly,which parry is this?
B2?
- Generally speaking, all highs and mids including power crushes can be parried by b2. Only Heat Burst, Heat Smash, Grabs and Lows cannot be parried
I also don't understand your second question. Parry in the middle of a combo? Is it db1+2 parry?

@@GamerNemy sorry I'm curious as to the actual frames the parries start (both I assume b2 comes out faster so you'd be able to slip it in quicker, like for instance if the parry is active on frame 6 then you could slip it in similar places as Yoshis flash) my preferred parry is db 1+2 because it leaves me less open, I'll usually slide it at the end of my turn so catch greedy opponents waiting on plus frames, just not sure what those are exactly.

Any Leroy video that doesn't tell you that leroy can lanuch anything that -13 after a parry is slacking.

@@WulfSight if Leroy b+2 parries anything thats normally -13 or worse. He can launch with df2, 1+2 instead of the normal parry animation
