Hey guys I'm trying out a new type of video -- shorter vid with sharp edits that highlight the most exciting parts of the game. DON'T WORRY the full gameplays aren't going anywhere. But let me know if you want to see more of this type of highlight video :) !
I liked this format! Feels fun and exciting and could be fun mixed in with normal full games :)

Prefer the uncut, tbh. One of your strengths as a streamer is being able to keep the commentary going and interesting throughout, so I wouldn't think editing would be the place to put time/money. Maybe they could be fun for bouncing back-and-forth with a collab (For Fun Squad-style) or doing your coaching style vids.
I appreciate your feedback. The uncut full gameplays aren't going anywhere, just wanted to try out something new for you guys :) Might sprinkle a few of these in here and there in addition to the regular videos
@@i0kiVids I think that could be really fun. maybe even some more teaching oriented videos where you show specific concepts throughy multiple games. Like... maybe a video that shows a bunch of examples of really good peeling or stuff like that IDK. either way, love the content as always
I definitely agree to the uncut videos too. There is a lot of information that I feel like I’m missing out on when the video is just cut from recall to back to lane scenes.

I think you did a good job with the edits, but your energy is so high and botlane gameplay is more action packed than the other roles anyway that I feel that it took away from the experience. The constant cutting away works great for people like katevolved because of the nature of that gameplay, not near as much going on on screen most the time. I don’t know anything about RUclips video length and money from it or if that has any effect but if it doesn’t matter I’d stick with the uncut stream video. If you do need to pare down the length then the only time I would cut would be death timers or lategame fixing sidelanes when nothing is really happening. Still enjoyed the video just think it would’ve been better in your usual style!
I’m not even playing League again yet, but I made sure my PBE was up to date so I can Smolder my ass off soon. Great game!

Honestly I actually enjoyed the more edited version of this video. Good vibe to it in my opinion! Still love the unedited version as your views and commentary help us understand what you are thinking and what should be going on within the map. But overall this was a nice little change, hope to see more!

This slightly shorter format can be quite good for those looking for a quick vid, and I find you did the scene jumps really well. The only thing - and I don‘t know if it‘s just me or not - that I would like to point out, are those sudden, deep zoom-ins. Those were a bit hard on my eyes. Regardless, you did a good job with the editing and as always, loved the gameplay.

Does passive stack on jungle monsters? I kind of doubt jungle Smolder would be good until he gets AOE, but from there it would be pretty sick.

Wait but how did you get a draft pick in PBE I thought it was only quick play with the preselect wtf is happening someone please explain because I tried for 7 games to get Smolder but it kept throwing me into my second option
yep i loaded up a full 10 man custom game with my stream community. playing on PBE without a full custom lobby is a nightmare, i feel for you bro

I think sprinkling these vids would be good for sure. Reminds me of how doublelift does his videos for RUclips (just for example). I say keep it.
Side note. Could be good for watch time for average viewership. (Short attention spans).
You are usually very good at commenting games. While the edit was very nice and crisp it doesnt feel like you need it on most games. It would allow you put out more games that wasnt “certified tubers” i guess. The ones that are a bit more slow paced. Edit: For example, you went from 16 kills to 23 in one edit? What happened? You increased your kills by 50% but it wasn’t relevant? It felt nice in the start and then suddenly it went into hyper skip mode. It also lost the feel of how hard the game seemingly was. Didn’t seem hard at all with the edits only showing your victories. So the last scene made no sense to me.

I prefer full gameplay,it would be more educational.Please more Smolder in other lane,like mid full ap with new fun builds.Zwag says full ap q w r and w r have high ap ratios and extra heal,he taught me that.

The new editing style caused me a bit of naseua (Its not a dig I just have motion sickness). Really enjoying the content otherwise, Ill come back for the next one.

Day 1 of asking ioki to play cryptbloom Karma. Cryptbloom has everything Karma need magic pen, AH and a passive that can heal the whole team
I like the full videos much more than this version, the skipping of time is kinda irritating. I prefer to see how the game moved tonthe next spot instead of just jumping through the gameplay.

Shut the hell up... who is doing this editing? Nah, fuck anyone who says the uncuts are better. I love them too because your streamer ability is to just keep the flow rolling the entire game, but these edits are next level clean. They're snappy, attention-grabby... Bro, ngl, I put you on while farming in FFXIV (an MMO, to show how mindless that grind is) but I still had to just quit out, pause the game, and watch, because the edits were SHARP and ATTENTION-DEMANDING. Only complaint is the edit for the ally and enemy slain thing, I'd rather just watch the fight play out. (If they died off screen, that's fine if you edited it with a zoom in in that case, because no action to see, but I recommend zooming in on the MAP to show the tokens running and dying at least). You're so punchy normally, that I feel like loading up your arsenal with these edits is just OP man. It's unfair. This is main-monitor content right here. This is TELEVISION, not a youtube vid.
Final verdict: Maybe TOO many edits. It lost the actual flow state of the game, and made times difficult to follow. One specific moment stands out to me the most, when you were fighting lux and rammus bot I was like "Is this a different game? Why are they Lux Ram bot???" The edits are sharp and punchy but you have to know when to pick the right moments. Trying to keep the action 24/7 loses the story between the action.
