Wow lovely flight. I flew for winair from 2006 to 2007. Of all the airlines that I’ve flown for this has got to be my favorite. Would love to go back towards the end of my career or when I get tired of the airbus. Funny story. When I just got released into saba, I performed a flight into there. Smooth flight. Kiss landing. Aircraft under control well before the intersection. Feeling all high and mighty and so professional I let the otter slowly taxi to the end before doing a 180 to backtrack to the apron. I got reported by the passengers and had to get checked out and released again the following week 😂😂 the chief pilot (amazing guy ) explained that the regular passengers are so used to landing and exiting at the intersection that they thought I wasn’t a good pilot because I taxied to the end. It was all intersections after that😂😂😂😂😂 love winair love the people

Cool video. I’m flying SXM to ANU Sunday & has a broken knee a couple months ago so was hoping there was a step
stool to getting into the plane ✈️ and see there is.

Lovely take off on runway 27 SXM ( I have never done that) perfect approach and landing on Saba( did that twice) and a very scenic and smooth touch down on runway 09 back in SXM.

I have been blessed to have been on this flight several times as a kid and as I got older. My grandmother is buried on nearby St. Eustatius and this is usually the first flight /stop of the day there. Got a rare opportunity to sit in the copilots seat during a Saba landing...EPIC!

The TwinOtter isa real work horse. If it's not moving the chances are it's loading, unloading or undergoing maintenance.

Who was the genius who designed this cockpit so there’s a fan with open blades spinning right beside equipment you need to reach for as you’re gazing out the windshield? 😂😂😂😂
As a pianist I can almost not bear to watch them every time they reach upwards. Yikes! They couldn’t put a plastic guard over the blades?
I used to live in the Caribbean but never made it to Saba or St. Maarten.

You want to land on a short run way try nanwalek Alaska probably less than 1/4 of that paved runway you can land jets on. Short 🤣🤣🤣

God ain’t going to do anything because your imaginary friend is just a figment of your imagination! …….if you want to do this flight you will just have to stump up the cash and pay for a ticket like everyone else !

Not sure, but it was a fun ride
I guess the ATC adviced the pilots to do that short approach,or maybe they(pilots) requested for it since that aircraft doesnt require a longer landing roll.
When you can stop in 500 feet and have a 7500 foot runway, you can put it about anywhere. Maybe avoiding the crazies on Maho Beach.

What a noisy aircraft ,must be built in the 1960 s.
It was very noisy, but thats adds to the experience...lol.lol..According to Google it was built in 1980.
