here’s a tip for stopping perfectly at financial quarter if you come from city hospital or beechley, go from 45 to 0 the moment you pass the first pillar of the station if you come from stepford victoria, go from 60 to 0 when you are 0.07 miles from the station, you should be able to stop at the marker quite perfectly another one for stepford central if you don’t terminate at this station, go from your current speed limit to 30 and just slowly brake at willowfield, go 15 on the platforms and take away all your speed the moment you pass the last gantry before the buffers, you should be close enough to the buffers i hope this helps ❤
My Personal Advice: It's about learning the Breaking Patterns of 100 and 125mph, these trains usually have very similar patterns of breaking depending on their maximum speed, you just need to observe carefully how far you need to get down to the Maximum Station Speed (yes there's a maximum station speed when stopping regardless of set speed limits, check training) My Personal Observation: For 100mph Trains 0.50 - drop to 45 0.18 - drop to 25 Brake to 15 once you're in the Plarform area, or Brake Gradually whatever is more Comfortable and Apply Full once you Hit the Last Stop sign before Yours (example: If 5 cars, apply full at 4 car sign) For 125mph (Express) 0.62 - Drop to 45 0.18 - Drop to 25 Follow same pattern as above from here. Safe Driving 👍
The class 68 in the thumbnail is so good I have a good time stopping with the class 68 due to its dual windows on both sides for viewing the car stop marker
Another tip; 100mph go to zero at .30 mi shorter platforms at .35 and 125mph go to zero at .50 mi short platforms/terminating stations slow down at .60 mi
For me: Below 70 MPH - slow down when at 0.25 mi 70-80 MPH - slow down when at 0.30 mi 85-90 MPH - slow down when at 0.35 mi 100 MPH - slow down when at 0.40 mi if it’s a short station/platform, then slow down to 15 MPH at 0.05 mi but if it’s waterline short station/platform then 5 mi
Actually… I don’t really care about speed limits and I slow down to 0 at around 0.35 mile before stations (if 100 mph) and around 0.47 mile (125 mph) ,that will get u enter stations around 50-60 mph and still get a good stop.😅
For me for 100mph I slow down 0.35miles away to 50mph then slow to 0 either .02 or 03 depending on station size and it usually gets me to the car marker or very close. For small stations I slow down 0.5 away. For 125mph I slow to 50 at .60 miles away and then slow to 0 at 0.1 from station
that depends on the platform length tho, for stations like whitney green, elsemere pond etc you have to break earlier meanwhile stations with really long platforms like morganstown, stepford central you are able to break later because the car marker is at the end of the platform
use this to stop perfect 100 mph: start braking at 0.30 miles distance 125 mph: start braking at 0.50 miles distance this always comes out perfect and you will always stop before the buffers
Nahh most stations u can enter easily with 45 and if u want to enter stations with 45 u just apply full brakes at 0.35 miles before the station so u can stop fast, smooth and also not overshoot the station of stop car marker. Btw stopping at coxly is easy. Just enter the station with 40-45 from Benton towards SHB and SC. From SHB and SC towards Benton u need to enter with 35-40 cause overshooting in that direction is way more likely. PS if u want a hard station to stop to rocket parade from LSR side and Westercoast coming from Faymere is also a fun one :)
The thumbnail is kinda wrong. The line just indicates the trains levelment with thr platform not where it stopped. The line would be in the same place if the train eas halfway up the platform
Experienced Driver: [ignore speed limit] [specific miles for trains and stations] [FULL BRAKE!!!] Then you should be able to stop at the platform (might not be accurate, although)
My tip for you guys where to brake: From 125mph = 0.55 miles From 110mph = 0.45 miles From 100mph = 0.35 miles From 85-90mph = 0.30 miles From 80mph = 0.25 miles From 75mph = 0.20 miles From 60-65mph = 0.17 miles From 45-55mph = brake before entering the station completely
I just stick to this rules: If you are going more than 100 mph, you should start braking at the distance of 0.45 miles from your nearest scheduled stop If you are going between 75 and 100 mph then you should start braking at 0.35 miles If you are going between 50 and 75 mph you should be braking at 0.3 miles If you are going less than 50 mph, then brake 0.25 at faster speeds or 0.1 miles at slower speeds
@@kevinnam3822 for Woodhead lane (from SUFC), start slowing at .4 miles, until train speed is 20mph. Then slow again after reaching the platform to 10 mph, and stop normally
My usual technique is slightly more aggressive (because the timetable is atrocious) - from 75mph or below I start braking when the announcement kicks in, from 80 or 85 I start braking at around 0.3 miles away, 0.35 for 90, and 0.4 for 100 (I don't drive ant stock yet with a higher maximum speed). Normally I enter at 45mph, but I stick to 30 for the likes of Whitney Green (New Harrow is also troublesome). From then it's just a matter of personal judgement - my stopping isn't perfect, but then I stay in cab view, so...! And then, of course, use the correct marker. Except at Millcastle Racecourse with a 717, where you'll have to stop at the Aventra marker to fit on the platform.
Idc of If im Going 100 on Benton tunnel, that platform is so large i start breaking when i see it, like 5 meter away or less, and Cozly is easy, i go a Lot aggressive there, i can’t on waterline cause stops are near And small
Btw it not 0.40 you stop at my sv training told me 0.35 and he is right and much more faster way only if yr train move at 100 mph if it 125 mph then stop at 0.50

W man
I mean Okay
Well, for me in 100 mph trains
0.35 drop to 45 mph, 0.15 drop to 30 mph and station drop to 15
For Benton's Express, you needed to stop at the 80x because that was a 801 train
The class 68 in the thumbnail is so good I have a good time stopping with the class 68 due to its dual windows on both sides for viewing the car stop marker

125 mph 0.55 mi

Best tip: Drive at 45mph at every station
I do that all the time the new braking system makes 45 speed seem fast tho 😭
I was searching for Silver Chariot Requiem (SCR) from Jjba and found this lol

U have to slow down to 45 mph for every station maybe less for short stations like whitney green but for long stations u just brake to 45 mph
when you stop the class 801 stop at the 80x marker not thr 5 car marker u can check the manual in training
use this to stop perfect

for longer platforms. you can start to brake to 0 at 0.3 miles. this will make sure you enter at 45mph
I’ve stopped my train very perfectly🤩 In express
Do more Scr tutorials!
This is helpful!
Lol, i figured iut the brakes a while ago. I arrive into stations at 50mph and 60 at edgemead. For terminals i arrive in at 15mph

Ah Ty for giving a guide to coxly how to stop I always fail
6:03 that isn’t correct marker coz I think I’m not sure but there is a 80x marker at Benton
Help me stop at Millcastle Racecourse pls
Is it possible to do a tutorial for Woodhead Lane and Elsemere Junction for Airlink in 100mp/h?
@@kevinnam3822 for Woodhead lane (from SUFC), start slowing at .4 miles, until train speed is 20mph. Then slow again after reaching the platform to 10 mph, and stop normally
why is there a marker in the tracks at 6:03...
Slow down to 30 at these markings
45 = 0.10
50 = 0.15
60 = 0.20
75 = 0.25
80 = 0.25
90 = 0.35
100 = 0.45
110 = 0.55
125 = 0.65
Bit too early
I wanna see a tutorial at Lynn-By-The-Sea please.
Nice video

By the way I also made a video about how to stop with the new power system, maybe you can take a glimpse
I will never follow the 15 mph speed limit at buffered termini

minimum station speed is 20mph, I learned this in my QD a week or so ago
For me:
100 MPH to 45 MPH when train is 0.40 Metres away
Once train touches the platform
Reduce speed from 45 to 0 asap
