1 Minute Blender Chocolate Cake:
- 150 gr Milk (1/2 cup + 2 tbsp)
- 60 gr melted Butter (1/2 stick)
- 1 Egg
- 150 gr Sugar (3/4 cup)
- 80 gr All Purpose Flour( 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp)
- 50 gr Unsweetened Cocoa Powder ( 7 tbsp)
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- Pinch of Salt
- 1 tsp lemon juice
DISCLAIMER: If using a fancy high powered blender, blend on medium only for 10 seconds.
If using a cheap blender (like I am LOL) blend on high for 15-20 seconds.
Frosting:
- 50g Cocoa Powder
- 50g Powdered Sugar
- 100g Milk
- Pinch of Salt

What I love about Emma is just the warning she puts up for some dangers, many "craft/baking" channels (you know the ones) don't do this and children stumbling upon this video could hurt themselves however way while baking. The warnings aren't needed because logic but kids do things sometimes without thinking so thanks Emma for doing that you're amazing
I just made this and it turned out SO WELL!! 😍 I had to bake my cake for 10 minutes longer, but it came out so soft and moist. Now I can make delicious chocolate cake and great pizza thanks to you, Emma! ❤️❤️
note to self: make sure to twist the lid fully before blending the batter or else you'll be scraping chocolate cake batter of the kitchen walls crying 4min before mother comes home

pro chefs make their batter in the food processor sometimes :D i am 14 and have been baking since i can remember and while i normally don’t use methods like these there are days where i don’t feel like making a whole pan of brownies. good luck on your baki journey, have confidence, be precise, and have fun! Hi Emma. Fantastic and amazingly easy and fail proof recipe. I live in Kenya (East Africa) and our sugar is very sweet. The cocoa is also dark and strong. I adjusted the recipe by reducing the sugar by 20g. I reduced the cocoa by 20g also but added the same amount to the flour to balance the weight. Hope the tip is useful. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. It was very soft and has a really rich chocolate flavor.

Is it possible to double this recipe using a Vitamix blender?
Sure. The Vitamix is super powerful though, so just blend for the minimum possible time to get ingredients incorporated.

Thank you Emma!! The cake turned out so well and moist! I didn't have lemon juice so I added two spoons of curd to the milk. I also added a bit of baking powder since I was low on baking soda. This is the third time I'm trying one your recipes and I'm so happy. 🧡🧡🧡
