When the design team forgets that Magnetic is psudo Charge, and just slap it on premium stat minions.
I think it’s more related to stealth plus duplicate
@@azura8675 No, its magnetic too. Duplicate, Stealth and Windfury are the problems.
Ah. Yes. 3/4 magnetic, gain stealth. Akamais crying
@@azura8675 Naw it's magnetic plus duplicate. Magnetic can allow for some crazy above rate minions but the downside to the big payoff is you're going down cards to invest in one mega minion. The ability to duplicate that investment removes that downside and makes it so the board is MUCH harder to deal with.
The more i think about it, the more it feels like stealth is the main problem. Magnetic is pseudo charge but only if you already have a board. Same with windfury, and duplication, they all need a board to be strong. Stealth is what ensures you have a board so you can abuse these mechanics.
The sad thought that came to my mind when watching this is: "He should cut Zilliax. It's too weak and clunky. 5 mana is simply too expensive. By the time you can play it, the game was already decided."
How did we come to this?!
I mean, it’s a hyper aggro deck. If it can’t kill within 6-7 turns, the Rogue pretty much already lost which make Zilliax worthless in it.
@@weebtrash3376 well zilliax used to be in aggro deck too iirc, its just powercreep
@@weebtrash3376 i managed to clear 3 boards with giant minions by turn 7. the multiple rogues just reloaded their hand, got the best cards in their decks and made even more boards. this is not aggro, its midrange but instead of good minions for their cost they play giant minions for free. i was three fucking wins from legend and lost 7 times in a row
@@danang5 zilliax was an auto include in more or less every deck. The powercreep is insane
@@danang5 in aggro decks that went wide to protect them. Mech rogue barely ever has wide boards, it’s mainly trying to buff up 1 or 2 minions
turn 2 6/7 windfury stealth seems like a normal thing to do in hearthstone. i sure hope my turn 2 river crocolisk is up to the task!
I know what happened to this game
This deck is a good reminder of why conceal was put in hall of fame. And it's not even half of what's wrong with this deck lol
The coin generating and copy mech being both magnetic is just disgusting
This is definitely the Blizzard moment of all time
i was expecting one of those essays, not literal warcrimes.
Clips are worth 1000 words on an essay
@@Rarranbut I wanna hear your high quality voice
Blizzard: Titans cannot be discovered because they are too powerful.
Priest: Plays my sargeras created by identity theft, and copies and now I'm losing to double twisting nether portal against priest. GG Blizz.
How did a priest make it that far into a game without winning with larger and larger men by like turn 8?
Also you can just yoink it with slyvanas and use abilities yourself
As priest should! It's crazy how the titans are almost not relevant looking at this deck. And I was tilted by the druid titan and tbf it should be nerfed if only everything else wasn't broken too
that only applies to discover cards from the general pool. Priest copies/discovers from your pool, where that rule does not apply. You can also discover your titan if you have a card that discovers a minnion in your deck.
@@MrDeflador exactly, that's also why I dislike rewind into alibi (tbf any extra alibi is a bad experience)
Watching hearthstone slowly turn into yugioh is pretty interesting.
Fun fact, control decks in yugioh can still end the game on turns 2-4
Every card game eventually turns into yugioh, fast paced and cards that do too much with little to no cost
@@monts0447 magic has been around far longer, and while the cards are definitely powercrept, games still last a long time.
@@monts0447the funny thing is this hearthstone format actually feels worse than modern Yu-Gi-Oh does because you need exactly specific cards to deal with boards, and the mana costs make it hard to get to those cards by the turn you need them
@@monts0447 When each expansion powercreeps the former one and also comes with new mechanics, it is hard to avoid.
4/5 for 4 mana used to be good...
But the turn 1 Yeti clip is still legendary.
Maybe it's not possible due to the length of the video but as a old hearthstone player a quick rundown on how the deck is expected to work would be sweeet.
Play like 10 magnetic 1/1s with stealth windfury and lifesteal then duplicate that minion every turn with all the keywords via a minion you need to forge (drag onto deck spend 2 mana) then win turn 6
You can go check Ruffle or Mark or Martian out for they brief explain the deck, the video didn't do it mostly cus it's too straight forward of a deck
Chat like 2 weeks ago: They did Rogue dirty this expansion
Rogue: hold my beer 😎🍺
I was really hyped for my omega greedy warlock deck, with basically every decent large men you can imagine. As you can maybe guess,i had a fun and enjoyable experience on launch day. 2.0 Jade priest and mech rogue EVERWYHERE xD
really? jade priest? i've never seen them, like ever, most of 'em just play control priest
Hey, at least new Jades don’t go infinite like the old ones
@@muhammadfazlurrahman4929 Its the new minion, that gets +1+1 for each of them you summoned this game. The thing is,ALL get the buffs. If you play 5 in one turn, you got 5 5/5 minions. And priest is priest,so they can pump these little fuckers out forever.
I was farming the hell out of those with big-guy control warrior (Blackrock & Roll, i literally ended up putting Ambassador Faelin into my deck to put Colossals on the bottom for the armor dredging elemental). SO much fun, 72% winrate against them.
Then these scam rogues came around and now i'm just playing Curse Warlock trying to force them to spend their Mana on not dying to curses and the moment they pull the magnetizable lifesteal minibot i lose
@@laurelkeeper The new ones don't need to go infinite when the they get as big in half the turns.
Turn 1 : Automaton
Turn 2 : Forge
Turn 3 : Celestial into Automaton Into Coin + Animate Dead
Turn 4 : Use forged card into 2 automatons
Turn 5 : use Ra'den.
Turn 6: Ra'den dies and spawns 3 8/8.
After Festival came out, and when the first two Titans were announced, I thought they tried to lower the power level, make the game slower
Boy was I wrong!
I love knowing whether or not I win or lose based on opening hand and turn 2
Thank you for including my imp warlock match. I was able to make it to legend with it. It was tough but you streaming that day definitely gave me the confidence to push forward! GG Rarran. Smile
Can you drop the list, I’m tryna refine my list and I’d like to compare it yours
@@calebescobedo3379 Absolutely! I have been making adjustments to it since I've reached legend but the base deck I used shown in the video is this one right below. It has has 63% winrate as of last weekend according HSReplay and 95W/55L (win to loss ratio). I would say knowing what classes people are playing and knowing how to muligan against that will be huge contributor on how you do against certain matchups.
The changes I've made since legend are with removing Void virtuoso and adding astalor and audio medic. but I think either could work

@@youbluethatone1017 Yeah, I only remembered his entry voice line. Tells you just how viable he was
Honestly on that intro I thought you were going to say "I'm going to show you how powerful this meta is... by playing against reynad who is only playing classic decks"
the one time (second actually) reynad could realistically lose and that's a scary thought
Time to take a break from HS for a while
Same
I'm wondering why don't yall just quit hearthstone for good. It's clearly the same broken shit every expansion release. Why not just go soend your time on good games like remnant or baldur's gate?
@@tomekk.1889 I think he's just memeing but yeah definitely play Baldurs!
Think it was real ballsy of Hearthstone to go full power creep this set. Titans, forging, mechs, it's nuts.
What's ballsy about it, the game is dead and full of bots and those left are so desperate to feel like they're winning that they'll spend hundreds on packs.
Seems like they just don't test cards anymore. Literally every expansion theirs a deck that breaks the game with a 60% wr for the first 2-4 weeks
Always nice to check up on HS...
Hearthstone players feeling 10% of the suffering of Yu-Gi-Oh players.
Yeah, shockspitter was nerfed in 2 days and people are surprised (some upset) of the nerfs to the mechs, your video proves that its not only 1 card that needs nerf a bunch need rework rather, 4 hp turn 3 glad they made renathal give us 5 extra hp only 😂😂
Renathal did something healthy for the meta and they reverted it back to powercreeping.
everything feels unfair when one class is this powerful
I’ve been doing good with shaman. I’ve even considered running hex but I discover it a lot from the 1 mana nature card generator thing. Long as they don’t get stealth every turn, shaman does okay against it
Yeah but shaman is also beyond busted tbh, especially in wild. I got turn 4 otk'd from 35 hp in wild from a shaman, they had 3 cards left in deck and floated 1 mana. Some of the cards in this expansion looked so cool but most classes can't even compete with the few most powerful so its all for nothing sadly.
@@Ollie9326 Wild is a totally different game... In Standard Nature Shaman has a sub-50% WR right now and is over 10% (3 whole tiers) below Totem Shaman, in Tier 4. That's not good. The flash list is 100% hard countered by Solid Alibi, and radiance list is slower to reach critical mass (too slow for the current aggro bonanza). It does have some of the biggest variance between lists though so it's possible it will continue to climb based on refining without any buffs or nerfs to the meta. Mech Rogue is also hard countered by Control Priest and we will just see Control Priest (and its own counter decks) continue to rise until we get at least a 3-deck Tier1 stable meta or mechrogue gets nerfed out of Tier1.
Once you get past rogue and hunter the meta is pretty much wide-open. You can tell a meta hasn't settled yet when shadow priest and totem shaman are in competitive tiers.
@@graysaltine6035 Well I'm not sure if you've ever played wild but no, it's not a completely different game at all, it's a completely different format, but literally the exact same game but with more cards. 🥴 It's win rate is pretty irrelevant with the way things are and when it can kill you on turn 3 or 4 it's not okay. Can still happen in standard too, although it being much less likely. Nature sham can still very regularly steal games from full hp by turn 6 in standard though, which again isn't okay, people just aren't getting to experience that much atm because the likes of mech rogue and hunter are stealing games by turns 3, 4 and 5 at latest. I totally agree solid alibi is broken, as clearly do blizz that's why it's getting nerfed, but one singular class having one singular card to counter you for a couple turns does not mean that nature shaman isn't overpowered. It's just a bit less overpowered than other busted shit that's currently in the game rn.
@@Ollie9326 the discount and frog need an adjustment (like both +1), other than that I'm really happy with shaman
Mech Rogue always feels like a non-game. I've been playing thief rogue, which pretty hard counters mech rogue, but I still don't have any fun against it. Because instead of getting crushed by a 9/9 on turn 3, the mech rogue just doesn't do anything the whole game. Like I've had multiple games where the mech rogue opponent didn't attack with a minion a single time even though the game ended on turn 8. It might be the least fun deck ever. Either they win explosively immediately, or they limp along pathetically
Such is the fate of any aggro strategy to be fair. Aggro is meant to kill as early as possible, otherwise Control takes over late with big mana value. It's a give and take.
Holy fk what is that at 8:00? I remember when people complained about shaman having a 4 mana 7/7 with overload 2
I also remember when having armorsmith turn 2 then acolyte of pain on turn 3 was an amazing start lmao
This deck is like playing vicious fledgling on turn 3 but it always has stealth
Yeah rogue is a huge problem right now.
rogue needs a whole bunch of nerfs, forge one needs to get a forge 2, so it's 8 mana and windfury/stealth need to go (instead I feel charge instead of windfury would be more balanced), Shaman needs a +1 on the discount or have it be that turn (and frog +1 for wild), pally still needs a nerf to that weapon (make it +1 for every 2minions played) I haven't seen in a while and that druid titan should get a nerf as soon as all these issues are resolved. Then we need to make solid alibi a hard twice per game, get the murloc fraud to 2 mana because turn 1 draw a secret is disgusting and then we can take a good look at the meta and decide the next steps... But this is utter chaos rn
Starting to get to the point where we need MTG grade removal and boardclears... (i.e. 1 mana hard removal spells and 3 mana hard boardclears.) This much powercreep is really not good for the game...
Can you go back to putting the description or new cards on the top right of the screen? It was very helpful in the past! Especially for signature cards where I can’t tell what they do at all. M
I went from bronze to legend. Didnt see a single mech rogue. Soon as i hit legend, everyone was mech rogue. Back to wild i go.
I'm top 50 EU and there's still no rogue mech, sham and Priest almost everygame (and a bit of Mage and hound hunt) , those decks are actually way stronger that scam rogue, but are less flashy so people are shocked by a tier 2 deck that gets decimated by tech cards (starfish and the tradable mass silence obliterates them)
It's just as bad in wild bro. Turn 3/4 shaman otks and mech rogue still every other game. I've just stopped playing till they balance things out tbh.
@@Neofoxie So the deck gets "obliterated" by 1 specific card (that is too late most of the time too) and another specific card that is class locked? Yeah, its soooo easy to counter.
@@shadowpriest2574 I mean the deck isn't even tier 1 so yeah it gets oblitered by one card which is enough and you definitely can still win without don't get me wrong, but anyway contrats on whinning so much that they didn't even nerfed the best card of mech rogue.
I guess I take it tho, one less relatively bad match for me to play druid... Ahah as if Mage (alibi at
3 isn't enough of a nerf) and Sham were way more problematic.
@@Neofoxie How do you win without starfish? What if I don't play the classes that beat Mech Rogue? Let me guess...I don't have a chance....well that is a problem. If only 1 or 2 classes can beat Mech Rogue, then its not good.
Why did they print titans when games end before you have half the mana to play them?
Dont worry. Control Priest gets to play their Titans if the opponent doesnt concede after turn 2 :P
I for one welcome our new Mech Rogue overlords 🤖
I don't welcome them, I just want to do my weekly quests man
This deck really is the epitome of "super fun to play, miserable to play against"
Mimiron signature has such good art, makes me almost wanna dump my entire life savings into this video game
Tony situation 2.0
I wish whoever is editing these videos put the Weird Legendaries' effects on screen when they are played because I don't play Hearthstone and I don't know what they do because there's no text =(
I like how a dev on reddit said theyd fix the magnetic 1 drops being the wrong color then didnt
The fact that rarran win so many games show how broken the deck is 😂
As soon as i saw the magnetic cards AND titans my first thought was wellp looks like silence priest is gonna be meta
This video was like Yu Gi Oh experience in Hearthstone.
Another day of watching rarren having the most winnable games ever and him just scooping
too accurate as well xD
Yeah he gives up way too soon
Remember flappy bird? This is him now. He's evolved.
It's almost like people were worried about powercreep years ago and nobody listened
Hey Rarran, if you’re still doing Hearthstone challenges, maybe try the Keyword challenge?
Some will be easier than others (rush, magnetic) whereas you might have to push it a bit with ones like Echo and Lifesteal
As many others have said, this video is really sad. The fact that you can't play interesting expensive cards because they are too slow and "By turn 5 the game was already decided" ruined the game for so many people...
i was so lucky to discover primordial wave everytime i played against this deck! absolutely bonkers
Hearthstone and Magic have really sped up recently. Some games really are over turn 5 in HS and 4 in Magic and it's getting to be who started with this deck or who had the coin with that deck. 67% win rate, almost always on turn 6. I can't imagine them not nerfing a couple things in this deck.
At least Magic has Commander and you can play it with friends. Also you can discuss what power level of decks you wanna use. Ya cannot do that in an online game.
Turn 4 win in magic? Seems slow to me :P Turn 2 and 3 are what i see being a Judge in Local Tournaments :P
@@Y0G0FU I do enjoy people having reading comprehension skills of a 5-year-old.
I really think Hearthstone needs a mass nerfing. The games power level is so absurd, it just feels bad all around
And my dude complains about amorphous slime being unfun to play against.
i played this deck to prove the point of how dumb it can be, i said in the stream, "if it wasnt for the video, I wouldnt play this at all"
Ah, sweet man made horrors beyond my comprehension
Hearthstone hasn't been fun in a while. It's just full of powercreep that makes previous fun cards unusable and non-interactable mechanics. Previously if an enemy had a ragnaros on the board you kill the ragnaros to take out the 8 damage per turn. Now you play something and it does a permanent effect that can never be disabled. It's like jade idols, you summon a jade idol and the next jade idol will always be +1/+1. You can't stop it, you can't silence it, you can't kill it, you can't interact with it in any way. If a minion died it's now in your graveyard and can be resurrected, but you can't interact with the graveyard, it's not Yugioh where you can go into the graveyard and do things. If someone gets a new hero power that's really strong you just can't interact with it, you can't attack the hero power, you can't disable it. Quests? Can't destroy them, can't silence them. All you can do is go aggro and hit face before the non-interactable mechanics get out of hand.
Skulking Geist, Cult Neophyte, Grizzled Wizard, Speaker Stomper. All decks are beatable. Well, except some that are getting nerfed or banned eventually.
Sounds like a skill issue

Take me back to Naxxramas. Undertaker outscaling removal was less cancer than this.
Seems fair and balanced lets hope they add a card for 1 mana that just states "this is alive at the end of your turn you win the game" then truely we can reach the peak of mobile hearthstone blizzard is trying to achieve.
I’m loving this battlegrounds mech update
Hey, I'm the guy that made the bad trade and generated the Pelecgos! Thanks for featuring that game!
7 days into the patch and ppl already losing their minds. Damn I thought this only happened in wow

After this, I would love to see current decks vs beta re-release nerf decks
I don't think I've ever laughed so hard to the point of my stomach hurting XDDD
i stoped playing HS a long time ago but this reminded me about really stupid shaman deck i made during WotOG rollout that had 13/1 Win Loss ratio...
so happy at the start of the video lol
proof that mech rogue slowly deteriorates your brain
It is the perfect storm of magnetize, stealth, premium stats, duplicate, cheap efficient removals and mana cheating that makes this deck absurd. Nerf one aspect and the deck stops being so oppressive. I would like to either nerf the stats on the duplicate minion or make it duplicate at the end of the enemy's turn so the enemy doesn't have to answer two bombastic giants, you can still stealth it but it needs more stuff around to make it strong. Most of the time Rarran just left the big stick laying there on board and that was enough to win.
I haven’t played HS in a few years can someone explain how ziliax is still standard?
Just out of curiosity, am I the only guy that watches the streams and still clicks the videos? Sometimes I feel I am odd for doing this, lmao.
a lot of people watch both
Oh come on, Silverback Patriarch was never the turn 3 play.
Maybe not but Stonehill Defender was once a legitimate F2P turn 3 play and is the same stat line.
@@valetboy21 Surprisingly, a card that gets you another card is quite a bit better than a card that doesn't.
Undertaker is a 1/2, it being everywhere at one point doesn't mean anything for Gadgetzan Jouster.
@@cathsaigh2197 I am saying that that even the buffed version of Silverback, Stonehill, would not be able to see play in today's Hearthstone. Your bringing up a card, Jouster, that barely saw play in Arena is a bad comparison and just shows that there was a time when the devs designed cards that were clearly worse than the overpowered ones they had designed in the past.
@@valetboy21 Jouster is a perfect comparison to Patriarch, since neither of them saw play. The thumbnail could have an actual classic turn 3 thing like Injured Blademaster, but instead it has just a 3 mana card that was never good.
@@cathsaigh2197 Except that Silverback Patriarch has been the poster child for power creep in Hearthstone for as long as I can remember, to the point where it basically power crept itself with Barrel of Monkeys, so when Rarran makes a gameplay video about the current powercreep it makes sense to use the Patriarch in the thumbnail.
Probably should be been my point in the first place.
this is why i only play HS when the old set rotates out ..... after multiple expnasions so much bullshit is doable that the game is barely Hearthstone any more
I find it funy that a few people though rogue got a bad package this expansion, while for me i thought it looked fun, and i am having a lot of fun right now
YEAH, definitely going next when a rogue comes up.
Ive been playing this deck and i went on a 32 win streak from bronze to gold 2
Is there a wild version of this deck lost out there? Pls thx
Probably the best version would be the Getmeowth quest deck that makes all you minions 5/5s
I was calling the rogue package straight busted when they teased the cards and was dumbfounded when content creators were claiming rogue got the weakest set.
i have a folder of every single end game screen from "working" my way up to diamond playing Mech Rogue. I have people conceding on turn one because of a divine shield 1/1, i have turn 5 boards full of double digit attack minions, i have concedes from people where i wasnt even winning they were just annoyed at everything this deck does so early.
The deck was silly and every win made me feel like i was laundering money AND getting away with it. Dirty but alive.
haven't played constructed in probably 3-4 years and holy fuck that power creep is absurd.
A lot of these boards get wrecked by a starfish. Idk why people aren't running it.
that reminds me of early YGO power creep. yeah you managed to clear my resource generators, but now you lose.
Maybe I’m too low a rank, but I’m on a 12 game win streak destroying paladin and rogue mech decks just using early game DK removal
It is ridiculous that the card is not a battlecry to summon a copy at end of turn
This is by far the greatest deck in hearthstone history with 3 cards giving an OVER 95% win rate in the deck when mulligan or drew. Cards that give a 60% win rate have tradionally been seen as the strongest cards ever and 3 commons/rarest have a 95 percent drawn rate. This just goes to show the hearthstone team has been given no resources and have no testing. We are the testers we should all be paid by Activision for testing and fixing their game
Well, no, there is testing, it just so happens that there is no such thing as a test team for game balance. Testing does products and software focuses on other things entirely.
Love the video, please remove the flickering intro 🙏
That last game feels like a case of "is only ok when I'm the one having fun". Just git gud.
Is this the Yu-Gi-Oh game I heard of recently? It really is faster then Heartstone!
Devs can’t create good concepts that excite people other than big numbers. Amanthul is almost there whereas norgannon is literally hur dur big number.
a turn 2 6/7 stealthed windfury in standard, dear god blizzard
Remember when turn 4 Yeti was a solid play?
Look I’m not gonna lie mech rogue is very good currently and I had a blast playing it but you simply cannot complain this much about one deck. Hunter power levels are through the roof, playing vs control priest is like watching you slowly suffocate, warlock is cheating out 19 mana by turn 5 and mage and shaman deal 27 damage from 9 mana while also controlling the board the entire game.
Yes mech rogue can be absurd when you Highroll but without it I think warlock and Hunter would be even more powerful than they are currently. The deck needs to be competitive in order to keep them in check. And complaining about a deck to be so op but you cannot hit legend with it but instead switch to another deck that is just absolutely ridiculous is not a good look imo. Mech rogue gets dunked by mage, shaman, Paladin and priest and is sitting at barely 50% win rate in legend. If the planned nerfs go through today it will literally all be warlock, Hunter and priest.
100% agree. Remember tho, this is hs community. They love crying
Without other videos as reminders, the most broken turn 5 decks I can think of is. OG warrior patches. Tunnel trogg overload shaman. OG quest rogue. And now this version of rogue.
Where's our mech crab?
power creep, bad card design, the introduction of control metas and every turn every class can play back to back board wipes and swings having like 3 5/5's on the board every turn after like turn 6. Terrible game design and couldn't keep the power creep in check.
And it will never be fixed because they don't want to look bad selling cards that are worse than current power and people want cards that do crazy things and win more that's what keeps the base playing
how fast until this is banned?
I really wonder how they will nerf this
They won't :D They will make Lab Constructor 5 mana 3-3 and that's it xd
