    We are in for something very sweet and awesome. I am excited AF.
    P.S. No intro, because Premiere apparently cannot process the unbearable information of changing OBS scenes and having an intro file as a whole.

    This game looks promising, can’t wait for more gameplay reveal in the summer. I do want to see how the 30 day cycle works, that’s the only thing people are concerned about

      @DiscussThing  22 дня назад

      Yeah, if it's a hard time limit, it would be very concerning. But on the other hand they CAN do something very risky, but potentially very cool - real time cycles, which would mean that the 30 days would be actual 30 days.

    If you haven't already, you may want to check out the video with the developers walking around and talking about the development.

      @@LloydChristmas-vx2wh Thank you. I have it at the ready, the stream. Need to watch it, but will need the time, so it's probably going to be tomorrow.

    The text in the symbol is latin and reads "peregrini aurorae" which translates to walker / pilgrim of the dawn, so dawnwalker.

      Much gratitude for this! Couldn't read aurorae, and assumed it was either Romanian or something similar.

      Is crazy how because my first language is Spanish, I could read that almost perfectly.
      Crazy how much change if your language comes from Latin.

    I am so, so hyped for accoladed Polish devs to keep releasing unconventional and unique in design and storytelling and setting choices games in AA-AAA resolution! Carpathians are extremely underappreciated, and after A Plague Tale there still could be told and played a lot more in the grim setting of Black Death and its fallout.
    No, I don't think there's going to be multiverse with the Witcher, but I do recognise the ideas and designs that made game universe of Witcher so unique in feel and historical association with real Central European armour and outfit designs of the late Middle Ages.
    And yeah, Mongol vampire immediately piqued my interest. A character like that might have a terrific backstory from Mongol invasion of Kievan Rus', when Horde reached both Poland and Hungary and invaded them too. A hundred year old invader from the steppe, maybe warlord or an emissary demanding tribute for his khan that was turned into a night monster. I trust the guys will know how to make the story layered and deep.

      @@VerminaeSupremacy I trust their decisions as well. It's an absolute win to pick the Carpathian region, especially in that time period. You have all the kingdoms in their time all around ,you have so many myths, lore and creatures you can develop. So many stories,coupled with an ongoing plague.
      Yeah,the multiverse tie-in was just a thought. I don't see it happening but on the fantasy side and just imagining potentially being or knowing that higher vampire in Blood and Wine came from there, is an entertaining thought.

      @@DiscussThing also ethnic and Christian denomination conflicts that persist even to this day (at least there were certainly issues noth sides of the range from what I heard from my family in UA and fellow Carpathian TTRPG players). Lunka is fairly Slavic, but MC's name made me wonder if they're from Jewish or mixed with them or the northmen family, for example, their vyshivanki are hard to parce as I am not much into reenactment and history of ethnic embroidery. But the detail is inspiring a lot of thought already.

    The game's gonna have a system where of good/evil where you are gonna the chance to feed yourself with innocent people but at the same time that's gonna end up with that zone being in "quarantine" or lockdown. So you're gonna have the chance to have the game "easier" by being more powerful but at the cost of less exploration, less shops and maybe even locking sidequests. It's a fantastic idea, you can play the game whoever you want. At the same time, if you do not feed yourself with human blood, you can end up eating a NPC before starting the conversation, and that can be a important character or not. IMO Those mechanics are fantastic.

    • @DiscussThing
      @DiscussThing  21 день назад

      Those sound tricky, but in a very entertaining way. Maneuvering one's needs of feeding and sustenance, and at the same time keeping a good guy persona.

    One of the main composers from Witcher 3, is working on this game. The other one I guess in Witcher 4.
