Everytime anyone upload a king cover or I watch any king cover, I'll always comeback to Risu's. Her cover is the best imo.
Risu's (all thanks to the versatility of her voice), Reine's (very different... the good kind), and Shien's (simply badass) are still my favorites among the Holocorp talents' cover of this song. Curious of Shien's singing? Definitely watch his karaoke streams... particularly his rendition of Yaranaika for hilarity.

My favorite is definitely Risu’s and Shion’s versions. Risu has such a strong singing voice and Shion has a really smooth consistent voice.

My favorite is Reine's by far. Not only because it is so different but because Reine also brings a lot to the table with her singing. Though I might pick Roboco's as my favorite if Reine's didn't exist.

Personally, my favorite cover is Towa's; I love the guttural growls she intersperses in the song. I can certainly see why many people think Risu's is the best, however, and I do have a soft spot for Matsuri's and Roboco's versions.

I agree with everyone else and I think that Izuru's Aishite cover is amazing, and there are some great covers and funny Holostars clips out there too.
Everyone's already said it but Izuru's Aishite cover is actually next level amazing. Holostars are ridiculously underrated and deserve more love^^
Roboco is severely under appreciated when it comes to her covers/originals. Shes usually just a cute fun ball, but she can put some strong emotions in her songs or just make some chill songs that you can just vibe to.
Definitely recommend her Bocca Della Verita cover. It's only been covered by her and Towa last I checked but it's really good and Roboco puts such a sinister vibe on it.

Polka decided to cover a newer Kanaria song instead, called Envy Baby.... it's definitely worth a listen, Polka needs to market her music better because she's incredible

The bleeped part that you can still hear anyway (O in the on screen lyrics) is し -> 死, meaning to die. That part of the sentence is 無様にねる, basicaly meaning (as/I) die clusmily (or ungracefuly would probably be a better term, you get the idea).
If you want to hear more Roboko singing, I'd suggest taking a lookt at アザミナ - > Azamina. There is only a 2 min short version on her channel but someone uploaded the full version and it's really good. The song fits her voice so much! There's no PV though.

BTW: The song is about an abusive relationship with the female dominant (from what I understand). As usual with looking cute japanese song, the lyric are more heavy that it seems.

I would recommend you watching Azki's "Inochi". She also did a duet version of that song with Suisei where Suisei starts crying mid-way and it just amazing. The lyrics are simply beautiful.
Also consider listening to the Promare cover Suisei did.
Flare's cover of King just released and personally its my favorite among all. Probably the best in my opinion but it can go against with Risu's cover both pretty good af

My man vibing HARD on that Risu cover at the start haha. Risu truly has an incredible vocal range, one of the widest ranges in HoloLive for sure.
As you even stated the biggest appeal to KING is how so many singers can add their own little touches to the same exact song to make each feel a little different from the rest.

Actually from the analysis and such I saw,her vocal range is actually in the smaller side of hololive from what she has shown .there are quite a few who has exhibited a bigger range than risu
@@aaronjake1376 idk what analysis you read but Several people who are actual musicians have analyzed her recent stream (the one where she tries to break her microphone by singing super high notes) and she literally hits notes and tones most people physically could never touch, and she even said she could go further then that but she held back because her mic was already haunted and wouldn’t be able to pick it up on stream if she went all out.

These opening notes are C7, a frequency literally not intended for people to hit, to be very clear you DO NOT sing at a pitch that high, yet she held several notes in it that weren’t merely screeches. Her vocal range is utterly insane.

At least among the female singers in general, and Hololive members in particular, Risu is still the yardstick against which all are judged; she used her "Risu" voice rather than the "Ayunda" voice here, and did a very technical rendition. This little naughty squirrel has some serious skills, not just counting other people's coins. Love Watame's version as well but it just bothered me when she went "You are kale". Usually if the singer tries to pronounced it like "keeng" then it would sound better.
