- Although I have had plenty of experience in Lakes and also the Kansas River, I have only fished the Might Missouri River several times. It can be a little intimidating and my boat wasn't the most dependable and possibly not as powerful as it should be. I have been on the Might MO with my boat a few times but, I avoided it until I complete the boat project I am currently doing.
My friend Anthony @thafishgawd who has fish the Missouri River many times offered to take me winter fishing for Blue Catfish in his boat. Anthony has been very successful with many trophy fish caught from the MO this year alone so he offered to show me the ropes. He showed me what to avoid and how to navigate in and around dikes safely....Also showing me how he's been catching these huge Blue Catfish and Flathead Catfish.
