I used some old strings while I'm waiting for my bew ones from sfg. I have it tuned, D,G, D and I capo it at a higher fret to make it like yours. Understanding key signatures sure helps. Thanks for the lesson.

You inspired me to order a prefab slider, (hinkler ). Yes, cheap but, just wanted to see if I wanted to pursue it. Saw one years ago with a license tag, so I made one with parts from the hinkler. Turned out good. I added a piezo with a volume knob and put in a toggle with a lamp, just for looks and fun. Light runs off of AA. What strings would you suggest. This one keyed in G. I don’t think I can post a pic here. I’ll find you on Facebook and post it there.

Thank you very much. It sounds pretty cool. Yes, you can send a pic to my Facebook. I use string gauge 040 030 022 Nickle wound, you can also use 3 bottom string from a 6 string pack. M~

i wonder if that cordless guitar system will reduce all the humming when i dont touch the strings? i never had an amp B4 and it hums and sizzles sometimes REALLY BAD! i wish i knew

Hi Amanda, that may work, not totally sure. Its some type of electrical interference with the pick. You can try plugging the amp into a different outlet, may help. One way to get rid of all humming and noise is using a battery powered amp that's not plugged into the wall. Hope this helps. M~
