I learned ASL in Alaska and I'm noticing some differences in the kinds of signs we use. I'm interested in knowing where you learned ASL and if there are some dialectal differences between where each of us learned.
I learned at my university in Florida so I guess it's not too surprising that there are some differences between the signs we use. Definitely interesting to hear though. I would love to learn more about regional differences in ASL

When signing we have things called accents. Basically different states and cities have different sign for words.
