The Red Well Spring: According to local legend, the spring has magical properties and is considered a source of healing water. The water from this spring is rich in mineral salts, including iron, and is commonly believed to have medicinal properties. In the past, the water was used as a remedy for various ailments, including skin diseases and stomach problems. Nowadays, the water from Red Well is no longer used for medicinal purposes and is not accessible to the public, but the site remains a popular tourist spot and is regularly visited by tourists and residents of Wellingborough.
