There is actually one guy that is good at teaching too his yutube is Fingerstyle club
Because of this man, I was able to learn to play River Flows In You by Yiruma. I tried reading the sheet music but it was too advanced for me and gave me a hell of a head ache. This guy, THIS man made it easy to understand and far less of a head ache. Thank you, sir!! =D
But what happened to this guy? A lot of people seem to say that he's dead and yet there's no confirmation of anything. His Instagram, Patreon, and Facebook say nothing. A lot of speculation and nothing to prove that he's gone. Some people say yes while others say no.
He graduated last two years ago and now he is working in Mumbai. He might be a programmer or something like that.

I get chills every single time I hear this man play this song. I have never fully sat down and learned this song fully. I've come back, and I'm inspired. I have college and a job, but in the mean time of not doing school work I will be learning this song, not only for me, but as a Christmas present to my grandmother -- one of the sweetest people I've ever met.
Got it "memorized" in a month of playing. Just down to repetition.

I chose this as my first song on the guitar and I realized I couldn’t play it properly; so, after 6 months I came back here and learned it in just a week. It’s very amazing to see my progress in just 6 months, despite knowing this isn’t the most difficult song to learn, but means a lot to me. Thanks man from 6 years ago :)

I started learning guitar 2 years ago and now I read comments telling me he has passed away. Even though he's not a pro fingerstyle guitar player, but he will be remembered by his fans like everyone of us. We don't have evidences that he has dead, but from long time absence, we can figure out what might happened to him.

10:41 i found its easier to keep the bar on your first finger from the previous chord shape instead of using your thumb, then just sliding the bar up to the 6th string and it's an easier reach to the 5th fret for your pinky.

haven't played in years, partly because I was not really good. Then recently, my 10 year old son got a guitar for his school curriculum. I picked it up and then stumbled on this legend's channel.
Over the years, I have watched many guitar tutorials, but they had flaws- either incomplete, too difficult to follow etc. But there's something about the way this guy teaches I can't put my finger on, the way he dissects every note, step by step, his calm demeanor really made me want to get back to guitar.
P.S. it's not surprising he has so many fans on the internet. Wherever he is, I hope he's well. Thanks.

Appart from getting confusing for the student, when going back and forth to see the compilation, it will also save you a lot of time. 🤓

For anyone struggling to keep up just slow down the video to .5 or more. I was having trouble keeping up and having to rewind repeatedly but after slowing it down my progress increased significantly

Mary Sote you can get apps from the app store that will slow the video down if you're struggling to keep up..i use video editor but there are loads of others which are also free. They're really handy if you're trying fingerstyle guitar. ✌️
