- In a one-on-one interview, Umar Zameer and his wife speak to Faiza Amin about the last three years awaiting trial and how life has been since the not guilty verdict.
You can see how broken he is. They broke him. To all the dirty cops, there is a bigger Law Man than you. And of His juddgement, none shall escape!
He is lucky that he can affort the lawyer fees . who knows how many innocent people like him are still suffering in jail for nothing .
Toronto police department thought this guy is an immigrant and will get scared and will accept a false charge Canada does not seem like a democracy anymore if these Police departments are allowed to survive
The city owes this man money ...they should pay up
Not the City... that's just Taxpayers paying, go after the individuals and make them pay...
I don't mind if my tax dollars is given to help this man and his family ...I'm good with that
@@traviskelowan6737 I do, they waste enough of are tax dollars and where's the lesson learned? found Guilty in a civil suit then Taxpayers pay the penalty... let the Guilty people pay put their own bank accounts...
There need to be criminal charges of the corrupt police and crown prosecutors. This is one of the worst police corruption scandals in Canadian history
I agree
@@suzannec8400 It was intentional and deliberate for the police chief to lie in order to send innocent people to jail. This police chief is clearly a racist and a chronic liar.
Worst since David Milgard, for sure.
For some strange reason, I strongly feel that some members of the Toronto police service are definitely going to act out against Mr. Zameer and his wife anyway they can after this not guilty verdict. I hope he moves out of the city because he practically has a target on his back at this point.
Anything is possible, he does need to be careful
You watch too much TV.
@@adeelkiani426 I’m glad you realize it too
The old boys/girls club, TO or Van, all the same, rotten to the core. I hope he gets millions & so he should.
Charges should NOT have been brought at all!!
God bless you Sir and your family🙏🙏🙏
Shame on the Toronto police. Shame.
Dirty cops and filthy prosecutors
Police work is highly, highly dangerous and stressful. The vast majority of us could not stomach a single shift.
Nonetheless, when it hits the fan (which is an everpresent feature of policing), it's sad to see some segments of the system close rank and seek to punish the public and avenge the fallen.
Shame on the Crown for being cowed and pursuing the case to the end.
Hope they can get back to where they were before this nightmare started
So very sorry you went through all that unnecessary grief. It was too clear this was not so. You and your family deserve compensation. Blessings on you and your family!!
Started with Ramer, ended with Demkiw. The Arc d'Incompetence.
In Canadian police services your guilty until proven innocent 😐
Justice was served!!!
Those police officet should face the consequences of what they have done if this police officer walk away. Nothing will be learned from this case.
I do not believe that the chief of police was unaware of what was occurring. The police chief should resign immediately because if he were honest and fair, he would not have allowed this to happen. This case has completely destroyed Toronto police's reputation.
Put that prosecutor in prison. What a circus show
" Court also heard one of the officers punched Zameer in the face as he was handcuffed on the ground during arrest. The officer said he was trying to get Zameer to stand up and move and punched him for his own safety. " Citizens can punch police officers for their safety from now on.
Police should now work on properly prosecuting these carjackings that's happening now in the province. Teenagers must now be brought up on adult charges, because they fully know what they are doing. These criminals are using the Youth Criminal Justice Act as an excuse to commit even more evil crimes.
Glad he is free..those officers should be in jail
Rip to the officer who died too
This is not simple . who can full fill thoes 3 years the suffered for nothing . This is soo heart breaking , shame on you toronto police .
Police corruption
This is a horrible chain of events and am soorry to hear of this man’s death and the accusations against Zameer. You can clearly see he and his family are in distress. The police must review their practices and stop needed to put innocent people in prison.
The lawyers involve on crown must remove ontario bar and send jail.the toronto police just drop ball big time like calgary police carter scam on trials.this men is mark for life and kids are going being mark for this.
Toronto mighty city.
They have a GoFundMe for him Canadians.
Just a sad sad case for everyone.
Both family and police are traumatized.
Only way for the family to move on from this Trauma is to move away from Canada and start anew elsewhere.
Good Luck to all.... May the police officer rest in peace... 😢😢😢
Police is traumatized because their lies were exposed by CCTV ? They hid the evidence for 3 years.
They are thankful for a non-guilty verdict but what about the family that lost a loved one permanently? There is no remorse that can bring that person back
ACAB
You can blame the friends of that officer who lied under oath and made the entire department look bad.
Learn how to drive before you go out in public - too many of these drivers on the road - where are the intended recipient or the employee or old school driver license centers that were strict and didn just hand out a license rather you had to show you were able to drive a motor vehicle - look at our roads today who are these people behind the wheel of a car - total disaster just ask the insurance companies !
Checked all my pockets couldnt find a single F to give.
And no one gives an F about what you think!
But your daughter in future would be getting f’d by immigrants
Agreed, ACAB
