This is a tutorial video on how to teardown and replace the OLED on your Samsung Galaxy S20 Screen. (The entire Frame+OLED+Digitizer+Glass screen assembly)
This is a full take apart and re-assembly video.
It's the same procedure and same glass screen assembly used to repair all carrier models.

Great video. Having never disassembled a phone before, this was a relatively easy step-by-step video to replace the full front frame after my screen got cracked with the display unusable. I found the most difficult step was removing the battery. My pry tool broke so ended up using a combo of heat gun + pry tool to wedge + suction to get the battery out.

must be possible to check if the new screen (+frame) is working by plugging in the flex cable of the new screen into the old main board (in the old frame), right ?
I used to repair all my devices; i started laptops in the 90s and early 2000's. I've also replaced some components on my Google Pixel phone. After watching this video it's clear they manufacture these things in a way that means they do NOT want you repairing these. Glue....Glue....that's not a manufacturing technique that is asking to be repaired.
How long does it usually take for these parts to be for sale

Hey great video, very detailed 👌 I only broke the front glass, and hopefully only need to replace the glass without taking the entire phone apart, is that correct?
Unless you have experience and special tools, or are a savant at following details, you're screwed.
Replacing just the glass is cheap to diy - but costs the same in a shop due to the much higher labor to separate and reattach the glass to the actual display panel.

Drop my phone running across the street and it was fine. That is until it got ran over by two cars. Surprisingly the damage wasn't that bad though just a few cracks along the bottom I'm using it right now in fact. Thanks for the tutorial I'm going to try this
Perfect one to ask this question: I accidentally shoved the ejector pin into the hole in the bottom of the phone (microphone opening?) instead of the SIM card tray hole… Do you think that I could have damaged anything (waterproofing, that rectangular component on the USB PCB looking like a crystal, etc.)?
Yes you pretty much fucked it up. Take it to an authorized dealer at this point and pay price to get it fixed.

@@shaec3405 If you do it correctly it should be. Most repair shops do not have a test depth chamber so it's easier to say it's not waterproof.
After having my screen changed on my Galaxy s20, I was not able to gain back cellular service through my SD card. Any reason you think this may be? Maybe antenna?

Lol you replace the screen as it is in the new frame that you buy. or to just replace screen you need to heat up the screen and do same as what he did to the back and only have to pull a few parts off to do it...

Great video, it helped me out a lot! Any ideas on why my phone connects to WIFI (and the network is definetily working) but wont load or send a thing though? This is a new problem since I replaced the screen.
and this is why so many are sold with broken screens! the old "S" phones were a doddle to do.

What I learned from this video is to have someone else replace my screen if it breaks.

For anyone asking about only replacing the screen, it is pretty diffucult to do and only an expert would try so because your LCD could easily be demanged during the process and if that happen either you won't care or you will have to do this process anyways.

I replace the whole screen but the phone won't restart or turn on. No logo, nothing. I also did the hold the down and power for 7 second. Did it like 15 times and nothing. When charging all I see is the circle with the percentage. What is wrong with the phone? I need help ASAP. Thanks

This didn't show how to replace the screen it showed how to disassemble and reassamble the phone lol.
What about just the front glass? It looks like the front glass can be replaced without taking the entire thing apart?

@@soniabarrientos1762 @Sonia Barrientos Based on an S9 video I saw ruclips.net/video/nOqlbOGYB_w/видео.html there's adhesive between the front glass and the digitizer and if you're not careful enough, the digitizer could be damaged while trying to remove the front glass... I don't know the exact differences are, but I'm guessing there's no such video for the S20 yet is because it's so new.

why mostly LCD screen of SAMSUNG mobile will Damage & cost of new lcd screen is around hk$ 1,400.00 of S20± samsung.
Very very weak parts of samsung mobile.
Before my A8 star samsung LCD screen was Damage & even this time my S20± samsung had same problem
I patd hk$1,850.oo to repair new LCD screen & on top of that They will charge money in there own choise .
When i went to repair my mobile S20± some repair shop told me hk$1,650 but time takes within 7 days to make my mobile & another repair shop told me hk$ 1,850.00 make after 3 days and again another repair shop told me hk$ 2,500.00 to repair but one day before same lady told me hk$2,000.00 that means they'll charge you what ever repair charge money they wants.
Don't take the hard-earned money of others so easily otherwise same things will happened to you .
From that day i never go to that shop .
Liked everything up until he said to reuse old adhesive. Bad idea. As an experienced tech every phone I see with adhesive reused the back glass winds up lifting and looking like shit.

It's a NO. I'd rather pay an expert to do this.
Would rather just get a new phone than do this. Wish I never bought this phone, it's in such a sorry state after less than a year of light use. My last phone (a Sony) looked better after 3 years and way more abuse.

If you have already broken the screen on your ultra you shouldn't have one
