Yep i work in a salon. In tge receptionist anytime someone ethnic comes in all my white co-worker tell me to give her to our manger our only black hair stylist. No one else feel comfortable doing it.

It's so nice to see because here in the U.K. I went to a salon which caters to black people hair as they advertised it. It was one I always go to. The hairdresser always viably looked annoyed every time I walked in. And at times they would charge me more than other customers. The only reason I stuck out that long is because it was 10mins away from where I live. Then one day they told me to my face that my hair was unmanageable and that they would charge me more. My hair is a lot longer than the average African. It reaches just below my shoulder blades in its natural curly form and it's like 3b/c type hair. That day I walked out, keeping my self respect and money intact.

Star you really only need it if u have naturally curly or kinky hair but you basically chase the flat iron with a fine toothed comb or brush to pull the hair through evenly.

Star you really only need it if u have naturally curly or kinky hair but you basically chase the flat iron with a fine toothed comb or brush to pull the hair through evenly.
