Love that guy “I’m not mad at you , I’m mad at the situation “ !!! What he just said is a lesson for everyone. This guy has got his shit together. Life gives us challenges this guy takes care of his business. Best wishes to him !
I agree. It started as a bad situation, but he worked with him and it turned out into a situation to show not all people are bad. Well done on both ends
Man, this was intense. I've been watching a lot of your videos the last few days. Blown away at your approach to all things. You are truly inspiring. Ryland in Seattle
Much respect bro. I’m a OTR truck driver and watch your videos to pass the day. Prayers to everyone with the COVID that’s some bad stuff. Keep it real as always and if the guys that are sick need anything let the channel know so we could come together and help if needed.
I have a great deal of respect to you for giving that guy,a complete stranger, a lift in your cab with you knowing the risk you took. Shows the care you have for people!
def impressive problem solving in the stressful yanks, i'd never be able to handle them. i had to get towed a few years ago, was super stressed out and in a bad mood, but the towtruck driver was very friendly and accommodating, it really made a huge difference in the situation
You’re absolutely a stand up individual Johnny. There’s not a lot of people who would have offered to give that guy a lift after he came at you the way he did. Your ability to defuse and deescalate a situation is phenomenal.
Wow, thank you for letting the individual in your truck. I agree that it was dangerous, especially with how he started communication with you. You were very professional and didn't let it get to you. I am sure the guy is really greatful you hooked him. Stay safe out there and continue your methods.
I love the way you handle things, always calm, cool, and collected. You turned a potentially bad situation into a good one. May God keep you safe and protected. Sending prayers for a speedy recovery for Greg and Ruby.
Johnny, you did the right thing giving the guy a ride. Sometimes you need to go with your gut on calls like that. Thoughts and prayers with Garry and Rudy. Be safe.
Thank you for great videos. Good for you to show people there are honest tow truck drivers! God bless you and keep you safe. Prayers for Greg and Ruby.
Anybody would be upset on that situation I think you made the right choice I'm sure you know what's going on but I watch you because I respect your way of dealing with people. I'm a self employed plumber and I tend to meet people on very bad days as I mostly do emergency repairs people may have no heat and freezing, clogged sewers , and whatnot then if they didn't budget for emergency repairs I have to break the news that it's gonna cost maybe several hundred dollars I see people react angrily all the time I like the way you stay calm but remain assertive and in control I learned from the way you deal with folks. Stay safe.
Throughout my 20's I wasn't what you would call financially stable, so I've been in that situation where I've had to leave my car at a few gas stations overnight. Thankfully they were mostly 24/7 stores so I could go inside and talk to the clerk before leaving. The one time someone was a bit sketchy about me leaving my vehicle he was OK once I offered to leave my DL with him so he knew I wouldn't just abandon it. I once had to leave it for 3 nights at a Walgreens parking lot, but I called them every day first thing to make sure there were no issues. The key is you have to be willing to accept no if that's their final answer and once you do get approval, you have to keep in touch. If I left it there more than 2 days and never called them, I wouldn't expect it to still be there when I returned.
I'm going to tell you a little story about why I don't trust these gas stations who call on "abandoned" cars. My husband's car broke down a few years ago right in front of a gas station. He pulled in and parked at the back to have a look. He knew what he needed and how to fix it, but the auto parts store a block away was already closed. Little mom & pop shop and no one else around there had the part in stock. With me on the phone (because I was online trying to locate a place near him -- I was in CT while he was in AL for the Navy), he spoke to the manager at the gas station. I heard the entire conversation. My husband explained the situation. He asked if it would be okay to leave it there overnight and he would be back by 5PM the next afternoon with the part. The manager said it wouldn't be a problem but told him if it was there when night time came, he would tow it. My husband said he completely understood and said he would get the car moved by 5PM. I told my husband that night I had a bad feeling about that. He said he watched the manager write a note and stick it by the cash register so other employees saw it. I kept nagging him about it, and he knows to trust my gut feelings Next morning, he got the command to let him out at lunch so he could fix the car. He showed up at the gas station before noon, about 11:45AM As his friend was pulling into the gas station, they saw a tow truck backing up to his car. After talking to the tow trucker, he found out the gas station manager called first thing that morning to report the car abandoned. He even told the tow company to "hurry up" because he didn't want a confrontation with anyone. After hearing my husband's side, they walked into the station together. My husband even called me to be a witness to the conversation. I talked to the driver, too. Driver looked by the cash register and the note was STILL there. Said my husband had until 5 PM to move the car. Driver was PISSED! He asked the manager why he called and acted like there was an issue when the car 1. wasn't abandoned and 2. there was never any altercation. Told the manager he was going to make a notation for their dispatch to question any call that came from there. Of course, he and my husband did the vet thing and talked for a while about the military lol. But just goes to show some people are just vindictive jerks and think tow companies are there for them to hurt innocent people.
You continue to amaze me bro! No no question that GOD is with you and watching over you. My Prayers are with Greig and Ruby’s family. Look forward to seeing them back up and doing good! Stay safe bro!
Enjoy this channel so much. Your one of the most professional tow drivers in the business. Wishing well to your coworkers covid is no joke. Be blessed brother.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Greg and Ruby get well soon guys. Johnny the way you handle upset people is truly commendable. Just keep doing what you do God Bless you.
I hope your teammates a speedy recovery. I was nervous when the owner caught up with you at the red light but as usual you handled it like a pro. Stay safe Johnny…
You are a good dude, I never really thought about tow guys good, bad, either way until I started watching your channel. Just that you were there when needed. The industry is lucky to have you man.
Hey Johnny after years of your service you get to know the various signs of possible violence . It was nice that you cut him a break ! Get well soon to your co- workers !
Well done Johnny you staying calm when dealing with the guy definitely helped to deescalate the situation. I think you letting the guy in the truck with you is smart thing to do. My thoughts and prayers go out to Greg and Ruby I hope they both have a speedy recovery

U have the best attitude to the people who u tow. Even when the guy was mad u unlocked ur door and offered him a ride and dropped the car at home. I give u props. Ur a solid dude for sure.
Great show of compassion to help that dude out when he was obviously having a hard time. Good on you Johnny! And good luck to your buddies I hope they get through that sickness.
Prayers for Greg and Ruby! Props for all the good you do, I know most wouldn’t. You go way out of your way to help those people, especially when they are upset, mad, etc. keep up the good work and great vids and stay safe out there!
It sure isn’t a joke. My granddaughter brought it home from school three weeks ago and passed it around her family. Her daddy, our son, is trying to cope with the symptoms that have affected his brain. My son-in -law lost both his parents earlier this year. Many stories like this all over the world.
You have a gift in the way you connect with people...particularly those with their car "on the hook." All of us can learn from it. Blessings to you, my friend.
You’re an impressive guy Johnny. I can tell you’ve done this job long enough, you know when somebody is actually going to cause an issue. You also know when somebody just needs a break and you called that guy up in your truck and he immediately calmed down. That’s just you personally knowing how to get the best outcome.
Real stand up guy here. Appreciate you and your channel for bringing a different type of content, a more humane and loving approach to daily situations that can easily make someone's day.

Some tow truck company policy does not allowed even the towed car owner to sit in the tow truck due to safety reason and to avoid allegation against tow drivers (especially if its a women passenger). When you let that driver in, my heart nearly skip a bit. Cos who knows he might have a pocket knife or something to hurt you. Just be safe towing cars when you are out there ya. Yeah, he was straight! Both of them handled the situation well! 👍👍
I'd be pissed too. He has a 5 yo car with all those problems. Mine is 15+ and I've never had those problems. Course, mine is Korean.
You can avoid a lot of fights by just treating people fair and staying calm. Good on you Johnny.
Yes yes 👍
