Thanks Tomlin, really chuffed to be asked to take part. Standout moments for me: 1. Konstantin's deconstruction of the concept of "tone" and the idea of thinking of the harp as an extension to your voice. 2. Carlos' idea of slowing down and "hanging out" with the lick you're learning. This is MASSIVE as a student but also a life lesson for our manic world! 3. Filisko's train is insanely good. I'm off to do some practice...
You took the words out of my mouth ,,,Good Luck keep practicing,as myself ....But with Tomlin,I caught on quick....Quick enough....I like his teaching style.. And he's a super harmonic player...
Liam right in there heading the list. Great knowledge departed by these musicians and yes, I've learned plenty this morning. We all suck and we all blow , Listen as much and we should grow!
Most of these apply to any learning instrument, each of these guys teachers are amazing! But also Tomlin yourself are a great teacher. I think someone should listen to it many times over and over again!
I read alot of comments and they are all like mine ,you are a great teacher.....I've already told you ,,,You have a gift..I noticed the guitar, another instrument I cannot play....it's so hard to hold the strings down....BUT FOCUS TARA, ON HARMONIC FIRST LOL.... ✌🏼
Thanks so much, Tomlin. Brilliant idea to have put this together, and very helpful. It's also a fine testament to the comradery amongst you and your fellow instructors.
Lian's, Filisko's and Ronnie's were the ones that resonated the most with me. And... May I add: LERN SOMETHING NEW, ALWAYS. As long as you learn something new, you're always progressing, period.
Thank you Tomlin- quite a genius idea for getting these top tips and all of them are super valuable!! I am still working on relaxing! It is not as easy as it appears!! 🤪😊🥰😎🎶
