Judi Dench, Jenny Seagrove and Finty Williams | A Midlife Montage

We think there's lots to celebrate about being a midlife woman (and beyond for that matter!). This week's episode is a 'midlife montage' where we ask three women the question "What's the best thing about being a midlife woman?"
When you hear the distinctive tones of Dame Judi Dench and the warm resonance of Jenny Seagrove you'll know we've started out this occasional series in a star-studded way! We even managed to get Dame Judi's screen and stage accomplished daughter Finty Williams (you'll know her from Doc Martin or many theatre productions), for the perfect theatrical tri-fecta.
You'll be glad to know Dame Judi did not disappoint - her warmth, laughter and personality shone through, despite her 88 years she is as vibrant as ever - and quite the tik-tok dancer! “In my mind’s eye I'm 6 feet and willowy and about 39,” Dame Judi told the Guardian in an interview in 2021.
Jenny has long been a supporter of our show - as we are of her charity Mane Chance Horse Sanctuary - and Finty might well have convinced Michelle to dye her pink (at least once in her life!).
