If overconfidence doesn't get you killed, it turns into pride. But as most people who survive this long are probably going to be just as adept, there is nothing special about you. Assuming you aren't apart of any survivalist group and more or less on your own, you'll meet depression along the way. This is where you begin to kill casually as you contemplate why you survive when all others have died. Should you manage to dig yourself out of depression you'll find yourself looking for meaning in the mundane. Hence hunting for twinkies trying to find funny ways to kill zombies.
If i remember, the leaning tower has to be re-dredged every 10 years or so to keep it at the classic lean we know. Otherwise it would keep tilting into the soft soil and eventually fall. In post-apocalypse i dont think anyone would be maintaining these monuments and after just a few decades it may be leaning much further. We've had the engineering to fix the tilt entirely for a long time. But it would ruin the charm and tourism the tower gets.
