- Come decorate for Christmas and bake with me as I make Pulla bread, molasses cookies (and gluten-free!), and sugar cookies. I'll also go over why I probably won't have a home birth, how I manage to have natural hospital births, what I pack in my hospital bag and more.

Such a cool skating rink! I’m praying for a safe and swift labor and delivery Stacy. You are a wonderful Mom. Loved your baking and baby preparation. Great tips and resources. Please don’t climb anymore. Let those big children help you do those things. ❤️🙏🏻Val C
Thank you! ❤️
Sending lots of love and prayers for you, baby and your family. Very excited for baby to come!!
Thank you so much!! ❤️
Wonderful information and lovely baking inspiration too ❤ God bless
Thank you so much! ❤️
oh I would recommend peppermint essential oil if you get nauseous during labor. Smelling it helped keep me from throwing up
That's a great tip! I've been pretty lucky to to not have experienced that.
I would have loved to have a skating rink…but growing up in North GA it was not a possibility. I don’t blame you on the GBS standpoint. I am 28 weeks with my 4th free birth/pregnancy. I just had to explain to my husband why I am not really worrying about the GBS test. Thanks for speaking out on women’s right during labor. It’s so important to be an advocate for a birthing mother! I love the “evidence based birth” website for referencing anything birth-related.
Yes, it wouldn’t have worked in WA either but I wish I would have had one!
And yes, the more I learn the more I want to tell others. It’s hard because it can be a touchy subject. That is a great website!
Your home and bread are beautiful. I have a Doona and love it. My daughter is 7 months old and it's great for going shopping. We also have a Britex carseat and Bob stroller which I like better for outdoor walks. I had her in a hospital and don't regret it. Complications aren't worth the risking it. I will keep you in my prayers. I hope you have a merry Christmas.
Thank you! And glad to hear you like your Doona!
And Merry Christmas to you too!
Stacy Stacy Stacy....... you just about gave me a heart attack climbing all over the furniture and cabinets. Lol. Please be careful. Very informative video. Ty. I'm praying for healthy baby and safe delivery and speedy recovery for mom and baby.
😂😂 I bet I got my mom with that too. Thank you. ❤️
Yes please be careful doing stuff like that, you and your baby are very precious!@@TheFromScratchFarmhouse
I still haven't been able to get pregnant but I'm so grateful that there is some awesome midwives just 45 minutes away
That’s great! Midwifes are great at helping with fertility too. ❤️
Those flour tubs look amazing
They are! They are from Ikea but unfortunately don’t make the same ones anymore.
You are truly super woman! Lol 😂 I'm looking forward to trying some of your meal prep ideas! I've also learned quite a few things from multiple videos! Thank you! 😊
Just found you. Loved your video. What are those great containers you have your supplies in?
Thank you, so glad you found me! They were from Ikea but unfortunately they don’t make them anymore. They might have something similar though!
13:37 this is great! My sister-in-law is so not crunchy and they told her all this stuff about how her baby could have spina bifida. I was like what the heck I thought that was only in like malnourished third world countries. Anyway we think the baby is perfectly fine now. 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
This happens so often. 😭
So good!!!
❤️❤️
I used the Christian hypno-birthing app during my last delivery and it was amazing!
So glad to hear!
20:11 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 yeah telling someone when to push hard jeez that sounds awful! Sounds like you would totally tear!!
When you said the thing about choosing natural birth at the hospital I was like yes that's possible! Although I am curious maybe you will explain this as I continue to listen but how do you prevent the nurses and doctors from interfering too much because I've heard so many awful stories about how they wake you up a million times through the night for no reason etcetera
First of all, you can decline anything. You just have to remember to speak up! As far as being woke up I’ve never minded them checking on me and felt like I got plenty of sleep in the hospital.
Enjoyed
So glad you enjoyed my video!
Why no Christmas tree???
We like to keep the focus of Christmas on the birth of Jesus. Trees in the home were also a pagan tradition. No judgement, we both grew up with one, we just decided it wasn’t for us.
❤❤❤
I’m curious if you sleep train or co sleep?
Co-sleep ❤️
Wud u consider doing a video on the gifts u got yer children for Christmas?
Well they are all wrapped so I don’t think that would be very exciting. 😅 I will say this… they each get 4 gifts + we fill their stocking with fun snacks and a few little gifts. Several of my kids asked for hunting gear. Girls got art supplies, cozy blankets and slippers. Some kids got kindles. A few got legos. A few also got subscription boxes (kiwi cards crate). My oldest got a phone. Hope that helps!
Have you heard of a Gabb cell phone? No internet access. Check it out, maybe for future children. My daughter had one for 2 1/2 years. We LoVEd it!
Thanks!! Do u try to spend a certain dollar value or just wutever it works out to?
@@jakeschmitt3261 Yes! So we decide what our gift budget is and then divide it among our kids. We don’t always stick to that exactly (little kids are cheap to please), but it gives us rough estimate to then keep below our total gift budget.
Why don't you put a tree up?
We like to keep the focus of Christmas on the birth of Jesus. Trees in the home were also a pagan tradition. No judgement, we both grew up with one, we just decided it wasn’t for us.
How does putting pretty lights and fun ornaments on a tree detract from the birth of Jesus? Genuine question, not trying to be snarky. If it's because it has pagan origins, wedding rings are also pagan in origin. So are wreaths, birthday candles, kissing under the mistletoe, and the choice to put Christmas on December 25th. @@TheFromScratchFarmhouse
