Mam I'm Indian the recipe is good but a good tip for you to not get these bubbles and get the extra crispy samosa before adding the water in flour add a little bit oil and rub flour with both hands for about 5 mins or until it's totally mixed with oil and before frying make sure to refrigerate them for 1 hour after assembling you'll be surprised with result btw good job❤
Edit- didn't expected my comment would be appreciated like this thanks to all
thank you so much for this tip, will try it🙏🏼❤
It's my pleasure ❤️
Thanks for the tip
ThE BUBBLES MAKES IT MORE CRISPY
@@phils_kitchen You can also squeeze lemon juice in the dough
This is the best demonstration I've seen on the internet so far, thanks for sharing this ....and I bet you .....I will do this for my family here... Thank you for sharing your recipe with the rest of the world...
What an amazing and simple recipe to follow. My first batch of wrappers backfired but I made it lol. I can finally say I've made samosas from scratch!! Thank you 😊
Really this is the easiest and most comprehensive method l have seen so far . Thank you.
anytime🤗
One of the best demonstration I have ever seen.. very well done! Thanks for sharing. You are truly gifted in this.🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you for the great recipe. Although I grew up eating homemade wrappers, I have never tried making my own. I love the spicy twist you added. I will definitely try it, and I'll be back to report!
What an easier way to fold instead of strips. U did that and the coriander chutney like a pro! Coming from an Indian
This is the recipe I’ve been looking for. The only addition to the spices for the wrappers, is I will add a little cumin seed (called jeera at Indian stores). I recall some Indian restaurants and stores having cumin seed in the wrappers.
Wow, amazing. Thank you Phil for sharing this recipe.
So well explained and presented! I will try your method of making the warps … I remember my Mum folding long strips of wrapping ..this looks so much easier .. from Cape Town .. thank you !
😊
Easiest Samosa recipe and method ever. Asante Phil ❤
Made this recipe for the first time for my husband who is from Kenya and he said 10/10😋
This is the best out of the bestest samosa recipe video i ever came across. I give the wrappers 10 out of 10🤝
Fantastic demo of making wrappers. Didn’t know they had to be heated lightly first.
Thanks. Definitely worth a try.
Will try this to perfection to be my hustle, thanks
Thank you lovely, , I love those samosas. We used to make them in Botswana. Now I can remake them.
I've watched several methods and even got a Chef to come demo at home. But, this is the simplest and most motivating process I have seen. Kudos. Add some oil to the flour to produce smooth look on the cooked samosa.
🤣🤣🤣am telling you I tried but lol
Nice recipe i loke making samosas i didn't know how to make the sauce thanks your recipes are awesome and easy to follow
Good morning, these look amazing. We were complaining about the store bought pastry for samosa's. We were talking about making our own pastry and it also has become very expensive to buy. Thank you so much for sharing you have made my day. I will try this and I am sure I will not be disappointed. We love samosa's it is a great treat to enjoy. We make a complete meal when we cook them and I would not have it any other way, they are super delicious. Kind regards.

So interesting to see your recipes as this is almost the same way we somalis make our wrappers we call them samboesa and the filling too. But we don't add oil to the pan as we almost dry cook the beef with onions.
ahhh, nice to know that👏🏽
Iam happy to have discovered your channel.
🤗🙏🏼
Kudos dear good work and simple to understand
Well done . Will try it
Wow very good demonstration indeed will surely try it
Thanks for the recipe Phil. I tried it this Easter Sunday 2024 to see if I can make samosas from scratch by myself. Unfortunately the dough stuck together, I don't know why, maybe the olive oil in between was too little?... so to save the day, I made little dough balls, rolled them out into little chapatis and ended up making semicircular samosas instead. My family enjoyed them just as much but I'll still try out your triangular ones the next time, I don't give up that easily😅
Phil the spicy wrappers look amazing I will def try that out and the green chutney. 🤤🤭🤭 I'm drooooooling. 😋
thank youuu🤗

Wow loved the whole process thnls looks much easier.
You've done a wonderful job.
I'm happy that someone from Kenya is making Pakistani snacks so professionally.
Thanks Phil for sharing this looks easy and want to try it. Can I know what your 1 cup flour for the recipe weighs in grams. I find grams to be more reliable in getting the same result and don’t want to make the mistake I did with the roti where it was so wet had to adjust the water going forward.
My goodness, you worked so hard
Thanks for sharing
Woow thank you Phill🥰
I'll try this
🎉🎉🎉🎉paprika, I heard and knew through this tutorial
