  • Today I go to some yard sales and a church rummage sale in search of things to resell on eBay, Mercari, and Amazon FBA! I found a 50 pound mystery box at a rummage sale to buy and well...I scored some great items at garage sales to flip online.

    //WHO AM I?
    I'm Wick and I am a reseller for a living. I find things at garage sales, thrift stores, and even clearance at retail stores to sell. I do online arbitrage, retail arbitrage, and buy locally. While the majority of my business is done through Amazon FBA, I also sell on eBay or anywhere else I can flip the junk that I find.
    I also trade stocks and futures, do affiliate marketing, and Merch by Amazon to make money online. My goal is to live a free life away from the typical 9-5 job.

    //FAQ
    Q: What Apps do you use to sell online (eBay and Amazon)?
    A: I search the eBay sold and completed listings to get an idea of what products are selling for. I use the Amazon Seller App to scan for FBA.
    Q: Can you make a living selling online?
    A: Yes, the difficulty is based on how much effort you put in and how much you need to make each month. I do this full time.
    Q: Where do you find your clearance products to resell?
    A: Literally everywhere. Check end caps and look for clearance aisles, but mostly it will be mixed in. Ask a manager if there's any good clearance deals and build a relationship if possible.
    Q: Do you make a full-time living selling online?
    A: I do. All my bills are covered, I'm able to save a good amount, and put money back into the business. I also do other things to make money, but reselling is the meat. It takes a lot of work and dedication to make a full-time living reselling.

    I found a whole village already complete (6 pcs) of that x stitch stuff, very popular in the 70's and 80's. Paid 50 cents and sold for 27 bucks. Great video as always.

    Vintage craft stuff is mostly overlooked at estate sales, and usually it’s really cheap too.

    Love the cross stitch stuff. I also have had great success selling it. Always find it cheap and it is a steady seller. Recently sold a lot of 40 wool thread skeins for $90. Cost me $5. Keep on rocking! 🤘😎👍

    Summer break is coming. Some mom or dad might grab your random box to keep her kids busy with crafts and projects. As an old cross stitch and yarn craft person, I can confirm that what looks like junk to you might be whhoohoo cool stuff to us. What a great buy! I think the Snoopy stickers might sell on their own if there's a copyright date there somewhere. As usual, super interesting. Thanks. :)

    I've made a ton off crosstitch stuff. Bernat dimensions gold, lanart and bucilla are some good ones to watch for. Alot of it has to do with the design. Religion and holiday stuff is great. I have 2 bernat stocking that are selling over 100$. Embroidery thread can also be very valuable.

    Nothing in the house because someone else already did a walkthrough before you...a lot of sneaky tricks people do, like contact the person who is holding the event there...ive seen it with my own eyes before.

    After I watched this video legit I was doing some Amazon flex and at the end of my route I stopped at a yard sale and a lady was clearing out a 90s year old women's stuff she passed away and there were tons and tons of cross stitch I bought it all for $40 there were at least 7 boxes filled and I made so much so quickly. At least 400 to 500 in the matter of a week. Now I'll have to make sure to keep a look out for cross stitching kits.

    It'd funny you bring up the whole ebay and prices. When using your phone vs looking up on a computer the prices are always different. Idk what it is I'll put the same exact keywords the same way and the computer will show me alot more and lower prices vs if I look up on my phone it will show higher prices. Very odd

    You are going to make good profit on the crafting stuff. Even open kits can sell if they appear complete. Dimensions Gold is another one to look out for.

    Most of your solds have shipping on, but others you offer free shipping, whats your determination when deciding to offer free shipping or not?

    • @FlippingJunk
      @FlippingJunk  4 месяца назад

      A pound or less I usually do free shipping. Or something that fits in a priority flat rate envelope I will, since I know the max amount I will need to pay.

    I'm an everything seller and interested in learning how to source glass items-- I have boxes of various vases and glass platters etc. and wondering how to go about finding comps etc. especially for ones with no brand names or numbers on them -- can you recommend some youtube channels that may touch on that? thanks!

      I'm not sure of RUclips videos, but you can always try using Google lens. If it's anything at all, there should be some hits.
