Thanks for your help John on the A1 purchase . The two A1's in stereo pairing sound amazing and have no Bluetooth latency issues when watching music video etc. I can't stop playing music as the sound is rich and exciting for such small units . 🎶
I've had my A2 for about 1 year now. The A2 on full power lasts 2 hours - maximum. Unfortunately, when outside (beach, on a boat, etc), you'll need to have it at its highest volume to hear anything. Indoors, then of course you don't need it at such a high volume, and the battery lasts around 15 hours. If it could be recharged by a USB battery type adaptor, that would make life perfect :) All in all, I do love it though!
I have one of these amazing speakers .. Problem is I currently have trouble connecting it to my tv .. My previous tv I just used to connect them with earphone jack to earphone jack .. My new tv doesn’t have an earphone jack … So I have tried connecting via Bluetooth but have no joy .. Any help would be appreciated.. I’ve tried for help in tv shops etc but no joy with them
Hi yes you will struggle with your new tv you could try one of these audio extraction boxes good luck www.lindy.co.uk/audio-video-c2/converters-scalers-c105/hdmi-4k60-audio-extractor-p13068?gad=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwy9-kBhCHARIsAHpBjHhsqP1nd568jEjSTE5mri7XPHfAh0u8z_bYCH0nRXA_fpvlBqhA8DMaAozVEALw_wcB
Hi John, I Own a beoplay a2 I'm very happy with the sound but very disappointed with the battery life if certainly doesn't last 24 hours I would say 3 on medium volume, have you ever had this problem? With any you have sold?
I like how every B&O sales representative avoids the battery issue no matter how many times comments pop up about the awfulness of battery life none of them will ever comment on it
Hi Lucifer666 I'm here to comment on it. This is my opinion. I do think that's it's a little misleading to quote up to 24 hours (sorry B&O). It's a little unrealistic as it's obviously 24 hours at the lowest possible volume. I normally tell customers in my store to expect 5-10 hours at medium volume depending on how bass heavy the music is. (Bass requires more energy from the cone and therefore more power from the battery) I do however think a little common sense should be involved. We should all know as consumers that 'up to' figures mentioned in marketing are often obtained in less than real world situations. I'm not saying it's right, it's just marketing and all companies do it from cars, broadband, electronics, shampoo and everything in between. I personally tend to ignore them or use them as a VERY rough guide. Of course the battery will drain fast at high/full volume, power required increases expinentially with volume. P2, A1 and A2 are small units with multiple amplifiers and not a whole lot of space for an enormous battery. So, I think B&O should give an expected battery range from low to full volume. I also think expectations should be managed because no small Bluetooth speaker can be expected to play at maximum for hours on end. So there you go, I hope this helps and of course, thanks for watching. John.
I honestly thank you for your response. I was just annoyed at A2's battery performance, As a bit of a tech geek I did realise that the 24-hour battery life was a marketing promotion and far-fetched, nevertheless on my unit I got less than two hours including the 50% drop at max volume. I understand as the manufacturer it is hard to pinpoint exactly how long the battery will last depending on sound quality loudness, and Genre of music. I still like the unit in fact I think they are all great even the new P2 but in all honesty that 1850 mA battery is way too small on the A2. Once again I thank you for your honesty and your response, and have a good one
Lucifer666 no problem at all. I'll always be honest with the channel otherwise there's no point to me. I appreciate every view and subscriber, I do my best to answer most comments. All the best, John.
I've got a Beoplay A1 and I just love it. But I'm thinking to buy a Beolit 15. There is too much difference between both of these in terms of sound quality?
Thank you. I got scared at first because in the back of the S3 was saying made in China. I thought it was a copy. But as you said quality and sound are still good.
Thanks for your help John on the A1 purchase .

How can we tell a fake a1 from a real one
I've got a Beoplay A1 and I just love it. But I'm thinking to buy a Beolit 15. There is too much difference between both of these in terms of sound quality?
Raul Maza A1 does not distort as much at higher volumes
Please fix the problem when beoplay a1 connect to AUX and turn of itself in 15 minutes. This foolish feature i ever seen before
Hey John, are some of the products now made in china?
Marc from Las Vegas here
Thank you. I got scared at first because in the back of the S3 was saying made in China. I thought it was a copy. But as you said quality and sound are still good.
It‘s a little bit late to tell you that, but the iPhone is made in China as well...;-)
I was upset about my P6 saying
Made in china
Bloody paid german top €£¥£
Love the ABR in the A2, reminds me of the old Beovox RL60 speakers! ;)
bullshit battery life. returned mine for going two and a bit hours on 85 to 90 volume.
Simon Says b&o is optimised for apple if you go t an iPhone it will go way longer even reaching past 15 hours
