It's weird. I never pushed my son until he was 13 while other dad's from early as tee-ball were in club ball, yelling, and making war in the earliest of years. They are all burned out, and my kid crushed the remaining competition. I made sure he wanted to do this for him, and not me...and then I let him go do it for himself. He just got drafted to the MLB debut in 2018....know your kid, and the system. And take advice from this guy

He’s literally the worst coach ever if a kid tries to make the team or the starting position it’s on him or her if they don’t make it’s not on the coaching it’s on the player to work harder
You need to stop teaching children. The only important thing about little league baseball is to have fun. 99.999999 of these kids will never be pro ball players.
