I have a white label promo copy of this Pam Todd & Love Exchange album with the 5 minute plus version. This 8 minute version here was a bootleg re-edit that was floating around in the 80's and actually being sold. I have doubles of it. The bootleg has this 8 minute re-edit and a bonus beats of the piano/hi-hat intro looped for about 3 minutes. Find it if you can.
+Easy Mo Bee The edit is by Danny Krivit
=Easy Mo Bee---i have that version with the intro looped for a couple minutes. it's on yellow label (bootleg), with other cuts on the flip side. got lucky and found it in Rock-N-Soul (NYC) some years ago..

Yup...that's the one these two fine Puerto Rican girls took me to. 99 Prince St. That was in 1982 the year I used to go.
@ clubhead433 love saves the day❗️
@@mikael7744 INDEED!!!!!
@ clubhead433 do your remember “Bond International”❓😳
@@mikael7744 Yes. I used to go there a lot. The Mike Stone parties with DJ Kenny Carpenter. They used to get down in there. I remember Fonda Rae performed there one weekend that's when "Heobah" was out and she had a bowl of fruit or a fruit hat or something and hit me in the head with an orange. That's where I first heard "I Want To Thank You" - Alicia Myers waaaaay before it was popular. Kenny Carpenter used to rock all the underground jams there. This was around 1981 - 83.

8:15 mins is pure audio pleasure. Reminds me of my childhood, when my parents will play this 45 and dance together. Early 80's, late 70's...what a vibe.

Love this song. One of my all-time favorites. I think I've heard at least three different versions and love them all. The lead singer is just going off for practically the last SIX minutes and it's great!! Amazing.
