girl is there anything you don't do - job, writing, youtube, podcast, webinar, school visits, critiques, exercising, having a fiancé, dogs and i assume somewhere in there a social life... safe to say i admire you so much.

Talking to myself about scenes and characters is one of the things that really helps me stay on top of my writing and story! So neat to hear someone else does that as well!

I just found (and subscribed to) your channel. Great video! I'm a homeschooling mother of 8 and I work full time night shifts as a pediatric intensive care nurse.
I finally decided to stop putting off my writing. All I ever wanted to be growing up was a writer... but I let everyone talk me into being "practical ". Time to get back into writing!

Love love love this video! You are very organized in your writing and I am envious. I’m organized in everything but my creative process. At least not as organized as I would like to be.
A couple of weeks ago when you recommended your favourite podcasts I had an idea to ask you whether you would consider starting one but then decided that you probably are to busy. And here you go announcing your podcast!!! :D It is magic!!! Totally subscribing and downloading immediately. 💜

Hi, I'm a young teen who absolutely loves to write and I'm currently working on and off of a novel idea. Your channel has inspired me beyond belief to work more and more on my story and your definitely one of the most awesome multi-taskers I've heard of! :) Thank you so much for your amazing channel, and I'm looking forward to my school's week long holiday so I can get some inspo from you and write!

A few things I have to say about this Vlog: one, I haven't heard of the Writer App so thank you for that! I have to give that a shot. Two, I like the idea of keeping your story in the background of your mind while you work. I have a dreaded day job as a sales supervisor and a family. I write late at night when it is quiet and so I haven't found a way to "utilize the subconscious" yet since when I go to bed at 3 AM, I am collapsing into a coma even before I hit the pillow! Third comment is well... I mean this with all respect as I think you are a very sharp dresser, but those huge glasses look like you are going to pull someone over for speeding! ha! Kristen Martin, author, video blogger, podcaster and beat cop!! Great video and tips as always -- thanks again!!!

Why haven't I found you before, this is the perfect happy place run by a happy person to work on my story. Thank you for the tips you give me in your videos. You inspire me to push hard in my writing and I'm only 13. I'm writing a serial killer story like the movie scream. I get confused sometimes and that's when I come to this channel to get ideas. A huge thank you from me Kristen, keep up your amazing writing👍📝A quick question. I write my stories like a script, for an example: "what are you doing here?" Rosa said. ⬅️Is that an okay style of writing, like would people read books that are like that?
