The Duhallow Way goes from Bweeng, Cork, to "The City", right outside Killarney. I've never been to Kerry so it was fun walking across the border!
The Avondhu Way and the Duhallow Way combine to make the Blackwater Way, part of the properly long-distance E8 route that goes from Ireland to Turkey. Maybe we'll do that next… Anyway, it's a fantastic trail. There's a lot of variety, and it really feels like it's an adventure.

Well done and fair play for remaining so positive throughout the rainfall. I know these lands have a unique dramatic beauty with rain but persistence can demoralise. Lovely shots and nice video.
I did the Blackwater Way when I walked across Ireland in 2013. There was a heatwave for two weeks during that time, and going through conifer plantations didn't help. I really did enjoy the Knockmealdown Mountains in County Tipperary, and I just loved the town of Millstreet. I had a plaice dinner in a pub (painted purple). I had never even heard of plaice before then, but I quite liked it. I lingered for a while in Millstreet before continuing on the trail. By then, the heatwave had ended, and the area west of Millstreet was beautiful.

Enjoyed the video, actually live near the west of Duhallow and never did the walk or visited lake mertagh or Mushera. Made this mundane location look amazing
