Check out the guitar cover for the ever popular BB King song "The Thrill is Gone" performed by Mike Dugan. For complete lesson, check out: www.torrins.com...
I learned that lick at 4:25 but it took several hours playing it over and over before I got it.I love that lick, very nasty growling lick. The very quick pauses within the lick make it work, also known as phrasing.I never thought I could learn that.
That riff you play at 4:25 is great. If you tab these out for people as a paying student let me know. Apparently I'm not ready to figure out something that fast yet by ear.
sounded nice for the most part. That run around 4:45 point did not seem to fit with this song. Sometimes less is better on these slow blues jams..but thanks for the video. The tone is great.
Sweet and soulful! Great version. Much respect👍🎸
This is pure gold sir..thank so much! You inspired me to sing, not just solo
Thank you so much

Thank you sir! It's really helpful and beautiful,
This video demo was part of a series on B.B King and his influence from Jazz style. That's why Mike added some chromatic and Jazzy phrases here:).
Thanks Clive.

u do more notes than BB king... i want the real solo
If you want the solo to be identical to BB King then listen to BB King
A lil to much at the end. You F'ed up a Classic
Tocas horrible eso explica muy bien que una buena guitarra no hace al guitarrista
Wow, a kid with a spongebob picture turned into a musician
