Many thanks for watching and commenting and there is no way that I will sugar coat a turd even if I was being paid for it, which I'm not. If something is good I will say it is but the reverse is the same. If I get a bad beer in a beer mail I will message the sender but I'm not even thinking about reviewing a beer on RUclips if it's one I'm going to tip. Stay safe and well, ICAN, cheers, Schnuz.
Many thanks for watching and commenting as usual Stevie and I don't see any point in saying "this is fantastic" as you spit it down the sink off camera. I have reviewed beers on camera before now but then never uploaded the footage as something had obviously gone wrong and I have included in out takes before now a genuine reaction of a personal preference (the Cwtch kit springs right to mind 😉). Stay safe and well, ICAN, cheers, Schnuz.
Totally agree with you Schnuz. I used to brew those kits and they were awful if not bloody awful! However it looked a nice beer in the glass just a shame about the taste😂 Great review👍👍👍
Many thanks for watching and commenting, it was beer in the vaguest sense of the term and one of the reasons that home brewing has got a bad rep as a lot of the kits I have been recently have been pretty good 👍 🍺. Stay safe and well, ICAN, cheers, Schnuz.
Many thanks for watching and commenting and extract kits are much better now than when I started brewing beer and are still improving. The all malt kits are as good as an all grain mash without the hassle, but you are tied to what they supply. Stay safe and well, ICAN, cheers, Schnuz.
Fair review, I will steer clear of that, thanks for taking a bullet on that one, I was thinking of doing a kit soon myself something like a old school pale ale, any recommendations you could make ? Many thanks
Many thanks for watching and commenting and for single can kits I have been very impressed by the Coopers range so far (between £12 - £14) . For double can kits (more pricy) I can recommend the Woodforde's range (£21), the wherry I do all the time (amber ale) and the Bure Gold is nice, on the edge for citrusy for me (after the dry hop) and that's a golden. Those would be my main recommendations for the two price ranges 👍. Stay safe and well, ICAN, cheers, Schnuz.
Many thanks for watching and commenting but a bit of a loaded question 🤔? I'm thinking that the best standard kit that I've had would be the Woodforde's Wherry, that is an all malt double can kit, comes in at about £20, no adding sugar or anything and I brew it regularly as I like it 👍 . I used to brew John Bull best bitter kits a lot (kit and kilo around £16 but added cost of sugar of your choice 😉) but they were always a little bit lacking which is why I started pimping them with DME etc. I don't think that the Wherry kits need any pimping flavour and mouth feel wise but I am experimenting with extras just for aesthetic purposes 😎. Stay safe and well, ICAN, Cheers, Schnuz.
Always love your honesty it saves people wasting money on rubbish products I applaud you cheers 👏👍🍻

Extract kits have moved on massively over the last few years, Covid saw a big spike in homebrew and generated newer and better ideas.
