@Revenge 360 I honestly feel like it is, each time I go in there I feel I sweat faster that I did the last time I got In there. The foot thing gets wayyyy to hot I keep that off. But overall it def does the job, I still can’t do the full hour, but slowly getting there!

Your video totally changed my outlook, so of course I'm going to get one. You answered a lot of the questions I had, like how hard is it to pack, what does getting into it look like, am I going to enjoy it. I think I'll buy a tiny heater from Amazon in hopes I can get the heat up, but I'll see after I've used it for awhile. @@wf050826 I did get the smaller version. I did close and zipper the small one up. It took about 28 minutes to heat up to 140. I gave up and sent it back. The first one I had was the bigger version. I had sent that one back earlier. No more chances. I will start to look at other competitors.
YOUR REVIEW IS GREAT AND VERY EDUCATIONAL. Walt, If you would like an upgrade, learn about the Relax Sauna. This one will get a lot hotter, and you will be totally amazed at the difference, It can do in 15 -20 minutes what yours takes to do in 1 hour.
Thx for sharing. The public sauna I went to used alot of chlorine, maybe bleach to clean it- which is not healthy, but it has to be cleaned right? I bought a similar one to this. I can sit on the floor and keep my head inside- use filtered water. Very relaxing. I do have to be careful not to touch the place where the steam comes into the tent. Regular Exercise gets harder on the joints as one ages, stress is handled differently too. You will find out soon enough if you're blessed to reach old age. Lol. I live in a very dry climate, but mildew may be a problem for some people if they dont take extra precaution to keep it dry between uses

I have not been able to get mine to go up to 140, I just used it yesterday for a half an hour and the highest it got was like 139 towards the end. And I tried to preheat it this morning. It says five minutes but after 15 it still was only at 130. And I got in and it went back-and-forth between about 130 and 131 for 15 minutes. The directions aren’t super helpful. I wish I could find out what I’m doing wrong!
This video is perfect! My bedroom is carpeted just like yours and was wondering about if there would be damp after using the sauna. I am highly interested in this product. Do you think this may help my knee and ankle/foot injuries I got from playing football? I'm getting old and those injuries are catching up to me now.
The bottom is not open and the material I believe is water proof all the way around so the sweat would just sit on the bottom of the sauna and not get to your carpet. I put a towel on the bottom to soak it up in hopes it will keep it from smelling after lost of use. I have no idea if it will help your knee/ankle/foot injuries. I would guess if they feel tight it would help loosen them for the short while, only because I feel like I can stretch more after.

to detoxify things have to come up and out. it shows that your body is mounting a response agains the toxins. don't give up so easily, maybe slow down and give more time inbetween session.

No. You will sweat out water, which will make you lose weight in the short term. But draining your body of water is not a safe way to lose weight because your body needs water. I always drink water after using this.

Wipe it down with a towel. Also, you might want to run a fan after ya use it. All that moisture can cause mold. Not saying that in a scary way. It's easy to control. Saying it in a way that don't let one spot get too wet for too long. I have a battery powered leaf blower. I use that to dry it off.

@@tough2lie382 absolutely but it depends on how powerful of heaters you get if youre looking to reach true sauna temps. im using cheap heaters and they only get the bathroom up to ~98º but thats plenty hot for me to sweat. especially while taking a hot shower + the humidity. Above all, be careful. Ive gotten nauseated a few times from underestimating it & staying in an hour to make up for the lower temp. even 95º is still quite hot
I would think you're exposed to an enormous amount of electrical radiation. Surely a steam system is much safer/better. Saunas are wonderful but infrared designs expose the user to unnecessary amounts of radiation that is a carcinagan. It just doesn't seem necessary. Electric blankets are the worst for this: The user is being exposed for 6-8 hours of radiation, just enveloping them.

I got burned 2 days ago with the explosion of the boiler, few second before, my husband was with his face very close to it, to find out what was that funny sound, and it could have exploded on his face, with the water on the electrical cord...that kind of chair, breaks up easily, and I fell on the floor when it did, I could have got hurt with those metal bars going through my body...one of the zip, broke up after few days....Please, when using it, make sure if you hear some strange sound, unplug immediately the boiler..do not get close to it, put a towel on top of it and wait until it is cold.. Plastic changes resistance with the passing time, the cover may not be closed properly etc..so be aware of what may happen and prevent dangerous or even deadly accidents.

Worried bout the level of toxicity emitd from these cheap amazon saunas, which defeats the purpose. I would have been nice if you had tested it with a device.

You say you wish the sauna got hotter, but you also say you stay in the sauna as long as you can stand it. I'm not sure how to make sense of those two statements.

Suna + Cold Shower is my fav. With all public saunas closed right now, I just might get this sneaky portable one :)

Infrared saunas don’t create steam, they heat you up with infrared waves which are supposed to be better

The EMF’s on these things are like 7x - 10x the safe amount. Guys, there is NO cheap solution to a low emf, low body voltage infrared sauna.
