Welcome back to another episode of game change! This week we turn Skyrim Special Edition into the Witcher 3 using all the best witcher 3 mods.
These mods are perfect if you're looking to make a Skyrim Witcher Build or witcher roleplay and some of the mods in this video are also available as skyrim witcher mods on xbox one.
In this list ive tried to include mods that cover Skyrim Witcher armor, Witcher animation mods, Witcher clothes, Witcher companions, Witcher house mods, hairstyles, Witcher monsters, Witcher HUD and much more Witcher related content. And if all that wasn't enough WITCHER for you then ive also compiled a list of visual mods to serve as the best solution in making a Witcher 3-esque Skyrim.
The Skyrim Witcher combat & animation mod i am using for this video is Combat Gameplay Overhaul which requires NEMESIS to work meaning you will not be able to use FNIS (fores new idles in skyrim) with this build so keep that in mind. But most FNIS mods should still be compatible as far as im aware.

Not my witcher.
I have had only one playtrough, and it was this year, as i can't get over this game i started ng+ and maybe i should try this frkn gwent also. I get treated as a criminal in community when i say i haven't plaued gwent even once
@@evakkosiili6390 Trust me I didn't play gwent either be cuz I didn't know how to play it, until there's a quest for it and I got used to the game rule it was a really good card game,you can even make a lot of money in certain quests.
@@Jokester2004 i skipped all gwent-relates quests in my first playtrough, i'm horrible person 😅 i'll give it a try in ng+, this game has whole lot of new stuff to do if i'll just keep my mind and dont choose all the same options as in first playtrough >_> in skyrim i busted my self playing sword-and shieldbashing breton atleast 8 charecters nonstop
The amount of Depth of Field makes it look like the camera has cataracts
Great list, but I would switch out TK Dodge with The Ultimate Dodge Mod. It's better than TK because it has no script lag, which basically means it's instantaneous.
Dosen't combat gameplay overhaul come with the best roll dodge animation that looks like the one from witcher 2?
@@MrZiad32 I still consider TUDM's to be better because CGO has weird first person when it comes to dodging.
Is TK Dodge the only one with step-dodging ?
@@nunyadambidniss Nope, TUDM has both rolling and step-dodging.
The only issue is that TUDM requires the still exceptionally buggy and unfinished Nemesis framework.
Ah it would be so cool to have like the volkihar vampires,turn into like the higher vampires from the Witcher
Thats the first thing i noticed playing the Witcher for the first time is that i wished the Volkihar vampires used their lord form more often. Although im sure there is a mod to do that somewhere

Great mod list , it's inspired me to make a 3 in 1 playthrough of skyrim with Witcher style monsters and side quests with some dark souls bosses and combat mod, I'll enjoy and regret making the game more realistic but fun keep up the videos

There is a relatively new mod for SE called A Witcher's Adventure. Its pretty promising so far. Incorporates signs, potions, oils and some swords along with a castle to unlock and a separate toxicity system that can used with or in place of toxicity/chasing the dragon. and it adds creatures and related alchemy ingredients.
And im glad you mentioned alternate conversation dialogue camera. It changes the feel of the game completely!!! That mod is completely underrated... just like your channel

I love CGO but I would replace their 2H great sword animations with one from pretty combat animation. Their great sword animation looks a bit like your character is talking into the sword like a phone...

Damn,i needed this video about 4 years ago,when my pc couldnt run wild hunt,so i played skyrim w/ mods x)
Hey man, just came across your channel and just subbed. Watched a couple of your other "Transforming Skyrim" videos too. Now I know you probably get absolutely SPAMMED with people making mod recommendations, but I'm gonna make one anyways, cause I feel it's kind of vital for this one lol. It's called skyrim unleveled, and basically it turns skyrim into a static world, so all enemies/enemy types (bandits, animals, creatures, undead, etc.) no longer scale to your level. So you could come across a level 40 bandit chief in full nordic armor when you're only level 5. Basically it's like coming across a "red skull enemy" in the witcher where you have to run away and come back to that dungeon when you're a higher level. Alternatively, you can come across level 5 bandits when you're level 40 and absolutely decimate them. It also removes the leveled system from unique gear. For example, if you rush through the thieves guild quest line and come to it's end around level 10, you'll end up with nightingale armor/weapons and a chillrend with much weaker enchantments then if you finished the quest line at level 50, making them almost useless late game. With this mod, you'll always get the highest level version of that equipment, regardless of what level you acquire it at. It might remove scaling from regular/randomized loot as well, but I'm not entirely sure... Sorry for the rant lol, I just love this mod cause it adds a much stronger feeling of progression

Was the highest lvl version of Nightingale armor fixed? I remember some of the gear in that questline, you needed to get at lower level, because it was bugged and couldn't be improved at it's max level.

Your editing is great. I subbed after finding your first "Transforming Skyrim" video. Turning it into Monster Hunter or Vermintide would be interesting to see. Fallout also has a lot of potential games to mimic, such as Seven Days to Die or Doom. Using FO:3 or New Vegas for a transforming Fallout video would likely give the best mod selection.

I finally installed Special Edition and loaded up as many mods as I could. Man, what a difference 64 bit is. I can walk around Whiterun without my fps tanking to 20. Solid 50-60 fps even running at 1440 and using 4k textures, overhauls, and enbs. I've got over 400 mods loaded. I'm using a lot of Witcher mods, my favorite is Armor of Intrigue, it adds a bunch of accessories, like stilettos and potions. I'm also using visible gear to get both silver and steel swords on the back. Need to wait for the rest of these other mods to get ported.
By the way, if you are using Nemesis, you can still use mods that require FNIS. Nemesis creates a dummy FNIS.esp file to use for those mods.
MrLateraliss yeah i cant tell you the amount of times i crashed on Oldrim with heavy load orders back in the day. So glad sse is stable. (Well.. more stable lol) and oh right! Im new to nemesis so thats good to know! Thanks for the tip 😊

@@HeavyBurns with visible favorited gear, it equips all the gear that you mark as favorite, and works great, but you can't do it with 2 one handed swords. So I favorite a one handed sword and a great sword. Then you go into racemenu and move the location of the great sword using the weapon sliders.
You could use all geared up instead, but it's a much heavier mod, and will require more work. Visible favorited gear is basically install and use. Allgud requires some patching.
Shiva's Vanilla Clothing replacer also takes the outfits from Divine Elegance and actually replaces, well, Vanilla clothes with the outfits from Divine elegance.

Good Afternoon/Evening from my neck of the woods. :) Just found your content via RUclips Recommendations and I definitely enjoy your content, hence me being your very recent subscriber. I do want to let you know that regarding Witcher Style Meditate Waiting, Nemesis recognizes it and I was not forced to (re)download FNIS. Now of course I have not actually tried it, but I am sure it should work(considering that it was recognized and I have a MCM config section for it). :D
That said, I truly enjoyed this video especially seeing as for the past few months I have been playing the Witcher series and now I am playing Skyrim again.

The Nemesis animation engine (which is required for CGO) can run FNIS mods. Nemesis and FNIS are functionally identical; both serve as external executables to "unlock" Skyrim's ability to load and run custom animations.

this is a really good mod set up, now for armors and weapons i personally use the grandmaster ursine armor, manticore gear and witcher 3 sword pack made by jrc0011 but the last 2 are only for oldrim, other mods i could add to this list will be convenient horses and name your horse so you can have roach roaming around and call it from anywhere, campfire because it gives a power called instincs that could be like the witcher senses and finally for some npcs overhauls i would use Windsong Immersive Character Overhaul that apart of improving the vanilla npcs also adds the Kaer Morhen armor and the prologue outfit
some great additions! Im actually using WICO in this video but yes great one for making the npc’s unique and rememberable!

That combat mod looks awesome ! My biggest complaint with Skyrim is the combat so I'm sure I would luv that mod !
