A couple things: you don’t have to be “a wino” to have wine in the house. As they were Jewish, it likely was common to have for meals, especially on Friday Shabbat. The mannequin heads that held the wigs would indicate that the family was/is Orthodox. Women cannot show their real hair in public, and wear wigs or head scarves. Photo lighting and flash photography can cause subtle damage to fabrics, paint and art canvas, which is why we are not allowed flash photography in museums, and tugging on the cording on the fabric wall coverings will also degrade the integrity of the thread. Remember to take only photos, and leave only footprints, and turn off all photo lighting (use only natural light) if you can. All things decay. No need to force the process.
Those front doors were totally awesome!! The furniture & architecture was phenomenal! I was amazed with all the things that were left behind & would love to know more of the history and then an interesting story about the ppl or the future endeavors if any. Thanks again for sharing.
That table is called a bumper pool table and there should be a top to cover it . We had one . You had red and white balls with pool sticks and you had to use the bumpers or sides to get your ball in the opposite side.
Lord, give me a bucket, some sponges, some Mr. Clean and some paint, I'll live in it! So sad it's wasting away with all of that beautiful stuff inside!!!
That's such a unique place! I have never ever seen clear lucite or glass used to make spindles on a staircase before, I love how they look Also I have never seen padded walls before outside of an asylum lol Loved the front door, really cool Nice pieces of furniture too, and the Betty White connection is awesome too Thanks for showing!
Well, they didn't lose everything, most of that wooden furniture and numerous other pieces there can easily be cleaned and restored. It's a shame if they let it all go to waste.
Front doors are worth about $30,000 because they are Philippine mahogany! Philippine mahogany doors are all the big thing with super rich family’s The problem now is they are highly illegal. Mahogany from Africa and the Philippines is banned due to illegal logging. I really don’t understand why the Home boys have it run over there with a U-Haul truck and snatch those doors and some other good stuff and headed to California
I really enjoyed the view thanks for sharing . I'm wondering if these people had homeowners insurance if so was this considered a total loss even if it was why leave photos behind I like that you don't do the blur out of anything and give information as to WHAT HAPPENED and history
So many antiques! Incredible time-capsule! What surprises me a little, weren't they insured? If it wasn't arson, the insurance company has to cover the damage. Very strange!
Hi iv just joined your channel ,amazing home ,what a terrible shame it’s just left ,the antique furniture will be lost ,that’s a wicked shame lv Ann uk 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️❤️
I've seen this before on other channels but I like your explore better. I bet their insurance paid them massively and had to be faulty electronics because nobody in their right mindset would let that happen in front of themselves to that degree and leave all that behind without a Few Million dollar check from Insurance policy.
I explored the place several months ago before it got really trashed. It was obvious that the interior was cheaply built and tacky (acrylic banisters?) and also an architectural nightmare because many of the walls, rooms, and closets didn't align. I also couldn't find any property records that proved Betty White owned it. I do know that this was a rumor that was started by a YT explorer who has a questionable reputation. She did own a house in the area, but the pictures they showed of the house that she owned looked nothing like this mansion.
Betty Whites name is on the paperwork as an owner of this house I believe it was in the 70s-80s. Bob (DetroitUnseen) is very good at research and looked this up. However, he thinks it's another women with the same name ,Betty White, but not the famous Betty White.
yes, everything does. cleaning by pros will be needed. some of the upholstered items will have to be replaced. "kilz" on all painted surfaces. attic insulation sucked out & replaced. if hvac was running at the time of the fire, it will have to be replaced, along with ductwork. any shortcuts taken will come back to haunt the residents. don't overlook anything.
Nice staging throughout.....kinda ruins the whole "abandoned" narrative. "Chair is in really nice condition....could probablu get a lot of money for it." I believe that would be crossing the 'abandoned exploration' threshold into the realm of theft.

That was it for me!..those doors!
Beautiful home! Ashame it's been heavily damaged by the fire. So many exquisite items left behind
It really is!
OMG ! I would love to live in this beautiful house. It's sad to see it in that shape.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like it could be fun.

The fact that you uploaded this right in the middle of me binging fire damaged mansion videos is kinda wack
This comment is kinda wack.

I really hope no ones store anything ugh
Mostly cooking wine
I wonder if it was arson…
Did they torch it themselves? Or do you know how fire started
Not sure how the fire started but it looked like it was in the kitchen.
Where is this located?
NY
I think it's called a bumper pool table
You are right Jethro. Good job 👏
How is all this stuff still there
I’m wondering why no one has broken into it and stole anything. So many valuable things
Bumper pool table

The hackers blocked me too. I’m sorry but I wanted to let you know.
Yes I know, doesn't seem like I can get my account back either. Pretty shitty situation. Thanks for reaching out.
Wow those jews loved alcohol!
What does religion have to do with this? You mention Jewish twice
'Jewish' is not a religion.. You're thinking of Judaism.
Did you not catch why he said it...all the hats..there certain type hat
Because they were Jewish. Pretty common sense at that point?
@@abandonedcentral what does Jewish have to do with ornate doors? It is not common sense…please elaborate
