I apologize for my absence from my channel as of late. In July I became severely ill from black mold toxicity which ended up with us having to abandon our apartment and lose everything in the process down to the clothes on our back. I'm now settled in a new place but the neurological effects are still effecting me so going forward it will be a challenge to be as productive as I have been on this channel. The hope is that with time those effects will wear off but there is no time table and some don't recover. With that said if you'd like to help support not only the channel but my life consider using the links in the description to make your purchase. This is my sole income now and every dollar counts. Thank you.
@XxWolfxWaRioRxX light bleeding shouldn't be a problem with oled. The only downside to this panel that I have found is the colour fringing from text. Not sure how pronounced it is. I have ordered this monitor. I'll have a better opinion in a few days
Great review, I liked the part where you talked about the usage of the monitor in non recommended ways, definitely cinched it for me as the monitor I'd like to upgrade to this year, don't really want 4K or higher refresh rates with my current rig.
I’ve been rocking an MSI 21:9 VA panel for a few years now so it’s helpful now that I’m looking for an OLED monitor now. After reading the comments though I may save some coin and get the 175hz panel. Great review nonetheless.
Nice review man. Just bought this monitor waiting on delivery. Does this come with the vesa screws for wall mounting? Or do you know what size screws are needed? I'm trying to find the correct size and length for vesa mounting but googles not coming up with anything.
Gigabyte has already released its version in the US (Newegg). It has a price tag of $1069. MSI is hard to beat at their price points. I wonder if Gigabyte will lower the price once the 341CQPX releases.
Nice review ! Do you think we can put some 90 degree angle DP / HDMI and power cord cables or adaptors to hide them at the bottom connection ports ? This would make cable management way better if it can be done....
Would love your opinion with black Friday deals for the lg you mentioned, I like the curve but I am skeptical about matte. Thanks for your input. Also has that acer predator came out?
I had this monitor a week ago but plagued with adaptive sync issue as it didn't work completely. As per my local PC store policy I sent it back to PC store which will be sent to MSI for RMA, but I still don't know whether it was just me or worldwide issue which could be fixed via firmware update. Is it possible to test adaptive sync working properly? (e.g. capping at 220 FPS @ 240Hz would reveal noticeable juddering, and refresh rate counter in MSI settings is likely fake)
@@FTHonestReviews Thanks for reply, I live in Australia and the monitor became available two weeks ago, and it's X model as I've been waiting for 240Hz
Hey I have a question can you check to see if your monitor is centered because I’m noticing mine isn’t the black bar on the left is way bigger then the right
@@FTHonestReviews hmmmm ok I thought I was going crazy do you think it’s the monitor we got do you think a different batch would be different or this is just something msi did ?
Thanks. I was planning to try out the benq halo and will get this monitor soon. Do you have any fitting issues with your light bar because of the ultra thin panel?
I feel like anything bigger or wider than 32 in needs a higher PPI than 1440p can deliver. I feel like 32 in ultrawides are the sweet spot for size to resolution ratios and I wouldn't go any bigger without finding a display with higher resolution. Especially since you'll be paying ~$1000.
Nice video welldone. Personally i had a 34" superwide for 3-4 years then went back to 32" as i found some games werent compatible. My next upgrade will be a 4k 32", any recommendations on OLEDS?
I like the MSI MPG 321URX as the best overall value but it's never in stock. I haven't reviewed all the 32" models out but if I were to buy one right now it would probably be the Alienware.
@@FTHonestReviews When you were using the CQP were you having issues with HDMI 2.1 and gaming in full screen, i been reading some horror stories not being able to use 10 bit, is it still great even at 8bit?
Hey Jacob wondering if you could help me please. I currently have 2 Dell 24” standard IPS monitors. Dell UK currently has the AW3423DWF on offer for £584/$747. Do you think this is a good price? It comes with the 3 years warranty which overs burn in. The Samsung Odyssey G8 OLED is £687/$879 new but only 1 year warranty and does not specify if that covers burn in. I’m based in England, UK but have included $ prices to make life easy. Thanks in advance.
Is the original MSI 341 CQP or this new CQPX variant available in your area? MSI tends to have better prices while still matching features of other brands like the 3 year burn in warranty.
@@IIAdnan93II If we're talking the CQPX model that would be my pick as it can do 240Hz, otherwise I'd pick Alienware over Samsung because of the burn in warranty.
Bro ain’t no way you used the 34CQP as your daily driver. The text clarity is straight ass especially in after effects and menus with black text on white. Work gave me it as a goft and I can’t stand it for productivity. Am I missing something?
Nice video. MSI is pretty hard to beat on OLEDs given the value at the price point. I find these to be to dim for HDR gaming so I’m hoping the next generation will be significantly brighter. Then I might make the jump to OLED.

great overview,
I agree with the whole 800r vs 1800r curve thing,
this msi monitor looks like a winner.
_What do you think about this monitor compared to Dell U3425WE?_
hello jacob , does cqp worth get over gen 3 like the 27 inch 360hz msi have ??
