I know my fellow Protestants can be very negative about seeking the intercession of the saints, but if it's a meaningful practice to you, I think you should ignore our objections. It's such a beautiful picture to think of the saints in Heaven interceding on your behalf.
Plus those dead people are actually "saints" aka people we know who are with God, and we the church got to this conclusion through a detailed study on the life of these people, so it's safe to ask them for prayer. All you holy saints of God, pray for us, amen. ✝️

It’s pretty clear in Revelation that the Saints offer our prayers to God as incense, along with their own prayers.
