building this to be parted of something that's gonna be placed on a old school widescreen eighties crt television model going static before the creepy thing pops out ;) :) Thanks for the tutorial man :)
I maybe trippin but I cant access the particle position function.. closest I can see is Particle Shape Location etc. Can you help - maybe I'm missing a plugin etc
So, I made a texture, black and white that corresponds with my model but then I use this method and it doesn't line up with the meshes UVs. Is that a different thing or just what happens... trying to find a magic number that works.
Hey! wow, this is so beautiful, and the fact that you share it ... One thousand thanks!!! You really made my day. Just one question ... Would it be posible to sample a video texture? Made of a video or a png sequence? Have a great day!
I just found out it's possible :) ... just a bit jittery ... but maybe with some tweaks it will be another interesting way to interact with the particles
@@terramidia3d Hey! Sorry but this was sometime ago and I really don't remember how I did it, but it was similar way than feeding it with a png. Good luck!
Amazing! Just what I needed and glad I found it. Most people are not into simulating noise:D

@@David_Fernandez thank you and don't worry, I already figured out how to do it!
@@terramidia3d hey would really appreciate an explanation i cant seem to work it out D:: . it doesn't work by just referencing the video texture
Anyone know how does it work with ue5 right now particles position is a position vector, not a normal vector so Im not sure how to use it
use Convert Position to Vector before
I should do it for my misuc visualisation
Great Tutorial! Thank you so much man
great information thank you!
Wow! Do you know how to apply this effect to a point cloud mesh?
beatiful, its posible from video ? i see the options are static mesh, vector fields. can I make vector fields without houdini? and animate that
I think yes. You should create video texture in content browser and can use it
No benefit video , its not tutorial by steps , ihave seen some of your videos and were nice
