    That’s what it’s all about! Just being out there doing what we love to do! It doesn’t matter if you catch one or nothing! Just getting out there and clearing your head from whatever you have going on in your life! The views are just extra icing on the cake!

    Love your philosophy Justin. Catching fish is awesome but sometimes you just need to appreciate and enjoy being out there. Thanks for that, buddy.

    You are exactly right. I spend a week at a time in South Florida and thats mainly what I do. Rod and drawstring pack and also take lots of pictures👍👍. Cool sunset shots and a great bluefish for you.

    We would never see the water this flat in Padre Island, TX. Maybe in Aransas Bay or Corpus Christi Bay but not Gulfl Front. Beautiful beach in your video.

      Surprised you don't get flat days like we do over there. It happens almost everytime the wind blows towards the water for a day or two. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend Nancy!

    This is me on most fishing days…no fish but glad I went. I jokingly tell people the only fins I caught were endorphins. Always a good time. Josh

    I watch fishing videos more for the esthetic of the ocean and beach than the monster catches. I've always said that I go fishing for the healing it provides and that really, I don't need a hook. Just the activity and the peace. I do love to catch fish, but I need the specific environment more.

    Hey From Destin. I know what you mean by working from home and just wanting to get 'out'. I appreciate your video's. You are like Clock work for my Wednesday's. Wish I had I have more time to just get out, but working hard to try to make that happen like you can. Btw, I have said it before, but I really like how you take the time to physically point out on your camera the structure for what you are seeing. This actually sets you apart from other surf fishing videos. Most videos just cast out there with a casual mention what they did. You actually show what you are looking for and point to where you cast. Helps immensely as I am always learning. Nice video and amazing Fall Panhandle sunset. Looking forward to next Wednesday.

      Glad you are enjoying them! Working from home for me is a love hate relationship. The hardest part for me is that you literally never leave work. So I have to get out of my house (work place) or I'll go crazy. Luckily my schedule can be pretty flexible. Rolling out of bed on a cold morning and not having to get in my freezing car is definitely a bonus haha. Hopefully you can get out to the beach soon. I'm pretty busy with projects right now myself so have not been fishing nearly as much. I enjoy showing the areas I fish because my goal with these videos is to help people catch more fish. I'm no expert but I think it is important to show what I am doing and why. Really happy you enjoy it and hope it helps. Thanks for all the support and have a good one!

    I think the trip was worth it- and the big blue was icing on the cake.
    I’m not an expert SUP-er, but I think I could’ve handled the waves you had there 😆

      Catching that big blue felt amazing. Honestly, I really needed that lure catch. Haha I think with my zero experience I'd even have gone paddle boaring in that water. Thanks for watching and have a good one!

    Great video Justin, Thanks for letting us know what's out there this time of season🎣 and the good tips, haven't been out lately, due to the cold 🥶 and rain 🌧️ but am going to get a day in this week before the next cold 🥶 rain ,am getting beach sick 🤢 from not going, it's flounder season now, have u through about trying to target 🎯🎣🐟 some yet, going to give a try ,, Thanks for the Content as always,,, Stay Safe God Bless,,

    • @JustinReedFishing
      @JustinReedFishing  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks Joseph. Flounder you say... I've actually never tried to target them from the beach. I am going to have to give that a try. What type of structure do you look for to find them? Also what lure/bait you recommend? Hope you get out there and wear em out!

    • @josephjenkins7329
      @josephjenkins7329 7 месяцев назад +1

      Justin usually u can spot them on the beach up close on a good north wind 🌬️ were the surf is flat ,look for fish laying on bottom , almost like a stingray or a door mat, brown in color, live bait, shrimp 🦐 or bull minnows, usually fish on a lite Carolina rig , same as u would fish for Whiting's, a # 1 owner hook should do, as far artificial small Grub or flukes or good to, sometimes walking the beach spot casting them works well , well I hope that can help u the next time you're out there,,👍😀 good luck,, Stay Safe God Bless,,

    Good video. This is where im at in fishing. If im not catching. Just glad to be out there...think you have a typo in your description on rod. Your using a dagger 8.6 instead of shimano
