If one doesn’t have insurance then he or she will be paying hundreds of dollars to get the iPhone repaired. I agree that Silver/white is the best color among the X/XS choices. VW also has a similar White Silver on its new cars that's slick... I admit I went with Gold to have some extra difference from my iPhone X but also to pair well with my blue Note 9. Wish Apple offered XS in Product Red or a blue... I prefer the Gold when it skews beige, and I can avoid any pink notes with my cases.
Its not about affording them lol as I've had both colours. I felt the gold back only looked gold part of the time. Most of the time it looked pinky beige. Pink is not for me.

@@MyZippy13 I think the color you are referring to is copper which is a mix of orange and pink. Look at different shots of pennies or your own, and it can have that look sometimes. The back switches to maybe 10 different looks cause of the glass. Rarely have I seen a pink, but there is a blush undertone sometimes apparent. None of the colors are gender specific. I see many guys rocking the gold.
