Excellent video. I lived in Gib late 70's as a teenager. Watched many "walking" videos but this was the first to go up Crutches Lane towards Granada Gate, I used to live in a very old house on top of the fortification wall (now a car park) which had a tunnel underneath. Main street not changed much but Campion Park area, the old HMS Rooke etc has certainly changed! Your video very informative and a pleasant trip down memory lane. Brilliant presentation. Thank You :)
As an army kid, I lived there from the age of two to four. I don’t remember much but I can tell you that those monkeys stoles a bag of nuts from me. I also remember cutting my knee in a tunnel and still have the scar today. I also remember seeing a big octopus on the beach that a fisherman had brought in. I must visit again!
Regarding the Parliament building, it is also colloquially known as "El Martillo", the hammer/gavel. A name dating back to the times auctions took place there (when it was still a trading exchange).
Latest stats place the population at around 38000. This gets the addition of 10000+ frontier workers, who cross daily from Spain, plus the tourists. Yes, it gets crowded.
A fabulous walk around, very informative & truly interesting…you explain things very well.
Beautifully done. I came to this channel as I had just visited there.

As a Gibraltarian, some of your facts and not precisely correct, but let’s leave at that.
