What amazing resources and can’t believe they are free! Thanks for sharing. Just subscribed. I also have a channel mainly about homeschooling and glad to be able to connect here!!
This is INCREDIBLY helpful. Does Number Stories Book 2 cover shapes? It doesn’t look like it. If not, what did you do instead? Also, did Book 2 provide enough calendar practice? Thank you!
@@ShawnaDawn06 I don’t think shapes are covered. I like to use Jack Hartmann videos on RUclips for shapes along with puzzles and picture books to go over shapes. I believe calendars are touched on but I found that my children needed daily practice with the calendar. I printed a sheet from TPT that we used every day along with calendar songs. The book Sing a Song of Seasons is a fun way to go over the date as well.
Thanks for the great video! We have also loved number stories. How did you print it out from the archive? I habe tried to figure it out but couldn't figure out how.
I've heard of first year in numbers and want to try it but i wanted to ask how it was teaching it without step by step instruction lol 😆 especially when it gets to bigger numbers and multiplication??
First year in numbers is pretty simple, it’s a lot of basic math facts and simple multiplication. I bet you’ll do great with first year in numbers. I didn’t struggle teaching that one so much. My oldest is currently in Wentworth arithmetic and it’s been so long since I’ve learned all my times tables that I’m relearning right along side him! I think Its really doable. Just try to remember that it’s okay to go at their pace and add in additional practice or support if you need it ❤️
Hello, thank you for this video and for showing us how you use it! I couldn't find a link for the place value book you found neither in the description nor on the blog post? Did I miss it? Thanks for any help!
I searched high and low and could not find this exact place value book. There are lots of similar resources on teachers pay teachers that would be wonderful, both free and paid. I do apologize.
@@danahall1282 Wentworth arithmetic goes above what I have printed out here. This blog post by sherry Hayes talks more about them 😊 momdelights.com/index.php/2022/04/25/free-complete-math-curriculum/
I love that this gives real-life context to math! I certainly think we are going to add these precious books into our curriculum!

I can’t for the life of me find the link for that book. I’m so sorry. But there are similar pages on teachers pay teachers If you search place value
Do you have links that you printed from
All the links should be on my blog post that’s linked in the description 😊
Is there answer keys?
@@danahall1282 i believe there are answer keys for the Wentworth arithmetic series. But not for number stories or first year in numbers
