The devil has definitely attacked mine. I’ve known what I’m supposed to do but have been overworked and exhausted. Sometimes People underestimate the power of distraction and exhaustion (and fear that leads to procrastination) that the devil throws your way. I’m trying to shake it with God’s help. I've been like Jonah, running from my calling. Making all kinds of excuses why I couldn't answer the call. And like Jonah, nothing went right until I submitted myself to the call. My faith has grown so much, because I see that the Lord is there for me, and he's not asking me to do something I'm incapable of. And he has made it soooo easy to step into the role he's called me to, like scary easy. I know there will be challenges, but with God going ahead of me, and with Jesus beside me, I have nothing to worry about.

Thanks man. I believe I'm being called to quit my successful business take about a 90% pay cut move my family two states away and do men's ministry. My heart is in it and the thoughts bring me major peace. My wife is on board but it's full on trust in Jesus from here on out for all things. Please be praying for me as I go into this next 8 weeks of emotional intelligence strengthening. As of now I'm feeling the spirit lead me to work 4 more months of my business and then make the move. Thanks for these 5 steps they all rang for me.
My grandfather was a preacher for 60 years. Never really retired. He thought God had given me a gift for gab.. a talent for language that could being lot of ppl to God. But i became atheist and was for last 15 years. Now I realize I was wrong the whole time.. and I've been feeling called somehow to change my life and follow in his footsteps. I will continue to pray. Maybe its time to end my sales career (I'm comfortable but that's a problem too) and do what God intended me to do.

Thank you for this so much. All 5 points apply to my current situation as I'm thinking of progressing further within the church and maybe looking to become part of the lay ministry team. I'm in my early 50's and since my teens have battled depression, self doubt etc. Even though I know in my heart this is what my whole life has been leading to, that voice whispers trying to push me down - how can I do this as I only came back to God 8 months ago, I can't be a full Christian yet, I'm not important enough to serve God that way and so on, you get the picture. Thing is becoming a lay minister of some kind and serving God is the one answer that makes my whole life finally make sense. This is exactly what ive been struggling with, its very true ive noticed how the enemy distracts with accusations of not being qualified, theres so many things ive started and havent commited to out of insecurities, so many prayers against whats been attacking what I believe God has called and equipped me to do. I noticed when theres a breaking down of stronholds and mental battles, theres another battle, it coukd be family issues, financial issues, theres always something pressing for my time energy and finances. My trust has not faultered but i do worry about my obedience and faith in these areas, we are all going to be bumbarded with all sorts of distractions but we can perserver in these times. #4...: That's the only one I'm not necessarily sure all family and all friends will always be able to see one's calling as well. They may be blind or unaware of other callings that are possible and basing their opinions or thoughts from their experiences or what they have knowledge of. Our environment can determine our future so sometimes God places strangers that become friends in your life to change your life so you can be of impact to others.

I'm only 12 abt to turn 13 next month. I honestly think my calling is music. I have always loved music and it brings me pure joy and I feel like every time I sing or play piano God is smiling down on me. I also do acting and I was about to quit acting for horseback and I could just feel God saying no. And I want to do everything for the Lord not the world so if that's praising Him with music or acting or something else I will be happy either way. But I do think music and acting is my calling.

My brother in law passed away unexpectedly in April just past, he was only 41. I’ve been running from my calling for a while. I’ve been a worship leader for the past two years, and He’s given the most incredible opportunities that I never asked for through worship ministry. Just this past week, I’ve finally accepted it. Now I’m in the midst of seeing how I’m going to change my career to follow that path.

As one who also engages the public from time to time, the humility is good. Always be humble before Him - the devil will try to fill you with pride, but that is an error. As many as God loves, He rebukes and chastens. As long as you continue to glorify God no matter what, you're on the right path. As long as you're speaking God's words and not your own, you're on the right path. Stay biblical.
I prayed asking God if should I be a footballer or musician. I asked him to show me in my dreams. I dreamt of myself playing football with Cristiano Ronaldo. I'm 22 now and I've played football my entire life. However, I don't enjoy it as much now. I enjoy music more, the process of recording and performing. So when I was praying I hoped that God would say music. I wasn't happy with God's answer so i prayed the following, and I had another dream playing soccer. Every week I have a dream playing soccer and I don't know how to feel because I stopped playing soccer all together and focused on music and acting. It's not that I don't enjoy soccer anymore, I just get lazy to do fitness and It makes me run away from the entire thing.

i'm in a season to know what my exact calling is. There are two things that some random people had told me back then. The first one, they said that i'm a worshipper, (Singing worship songs had been my lifestyle since my childhood). The confirmations happened several times, said by different people. the second one, some people said that i'd be used by God to be a missionary to share the gospel. At the moment, i'm just trying to go with the flow. I don't know how these things would work in my life. i need prayer

Ive always felt like i'd never be good enough as i'd always get my pronunciation wrong but I have a real knack for reading the characters and remembering the words. Thank you for this so much. All 5 points apply to my current situation as I'm thinking of progressing further within the church and maybe looking to become part of the lay ministry team. I'm in my early 50's and since my teens have battled depression, self doubt etc. Even though I know in my heart this is what my whole life has been leading to, that voice whispers trying to push me down - how can I do this as I only came back to God 8 months ago, I can't be a full Christian yet, I'm not important enough to serve God that way and so on, you get the picture. Thing is becoming a lay minister of some kind and serving God is the one answer that makes my whole life finally make sense. This is exactly what ive been struggling with, its very true ive noticed how the enemy distracts with accusations of not being qualified, theres so many things ive started and havent commited to out of insecurities, so many prayers against whats been attacking what I believe God has called and equipped me to do. I noticed when theres a breaking down of stronholds and mental battles, theres another battle, it coukd be family issues, financial issues, theres always something pressing for my time energy and finances. My trust has not faultered but i do worry about my obedience and faith in these areas, we are all going to be bumbarded with all sorts of distractions but we can perserver in these times. #4...: That's the only one I'm not necessarily sure all family and all friends will always be able to see one's calling as well. They may be blind or unaware of other callings that are possible and basing their opinions or thoughts from their experiences or what they have knowledge of. Our environment can determine our future so sometimes God places strangers that become friends in your life to change your life so you can be of impact to others.

I'm only 12 abt to turn 13 next month. I honestly think my calling is music. I have always loved music and it brings me pure joy and I feel like every time I sing or play piano God is smiling down on me. I also do acting and I was about to quit acting for horseback and I could just feel God saying no. And I want to do everything for the Lord not the world so if that's praising Him with music or acting or something else I will be happy either way. But I do think music and acting is my calling.

My brother in law passed away unexpectedly in April just past, he was only 41. I started going to church because I felt I needed to he closer to God... two weeks ago, they put a request out for people to join the church choir and when I attended practice the first song I was given to learn was "The voice of God is calling" 🙏🥰

I’ve been running from my calling for a while. I’ve been a worship leader for the past two years, and He’s given the most incredible opportunities that I never asked for through worship ministry. Just this past week, I’ve finally accepted it. Now I’m in the midst of seeing how I’m going to change my career to follow that path.

I prayed asking God if should I be a footballer or musician. I asked him to show me in my dreams. I dreamt of myself playing football with Cristiano Ronaldo. I'm 22 now and I've played football my entire life. However, I don't enjoy it as much now. I enjoy music more, the process of recording and performing. So when I was praying I hoped that God would say music. I wasn't happy with God's answer so i prayed the following, and I had another dream playing soccer. Every week I have a dream playing soccer and I don't know how to feel because I stopped playing soccer all together and focused on music and acting.
It's not that I don't enjoy soccer anymore, I just get lazy to do fitness and It makes me run away from the entire thing.

i'm in a season to know what my exact calling is. There are two things that some random people had told me back then. The first one, they said that i'm a worshipper, (Singing worship songs had been my lifestyle since my childhood). The confirmations happened several times, said by different people. the second one, some people said that i'd be used by God to be a missionary to share the gospel. At the moment, i'm just trying to go with the flow. I don't know how these things would work in my life. i need prayer

Reason number 5 stuck with me the most. In this instance its learning mandarin. Ive always felt like i'd never be good enough as i'd always get my pronunciation wrong but I have a real knack for reading the characters and remembering the words. I feel as though I am being called to travel to China to help believers there. Who knows, i'll have to pray more to confirm this.
