But after excessive use I had to change up my skin care routine because I wasn’t seeing anymore results. My skin goes through many changes so I always have to change up my products time to time. After a while I gave it another try and my skin has been loving it again. 8/10 for me 🥰 I learned that if you use it on lightly damp skin it absorbs so much better and works effectively that way! I came here to say the mamonde rose water and some by mi yuja something something serum is like...so useless to me 😂 i have acne prone skin but my skin has mostly cleared up so all that's left is the hyperpigmentation and scarring. Lemme tell you what made my skin looked better these couple months.
    1. Vitamin C
    2. Retinol
    3. Niacinamide
    4. Isntree AHA
    5. Facial oil
I use this combo and it works so well for me and i didnt even break out. I use Niacinamide (the ordinary) in the morning, and use vit c, retinol and isntree AHA at night but NOT ALL AT ONCE. I swap it out daily. In the end, i use a facial oil (camellia oil but also sometimes my mom's rose hip oil) to end the night. Of course there are steps like moisturising and sunblock but that's not the thing that healed my skin. Both vit.c and retinol are from the brand Advanced Clinicals. Camellia oil is not from any brand, it was hand made by someone. Though you can use any oil you like.
Personally for me, the product that works like a miracle that even visibly reduces my acne the next day is the Isntree AHA essence. That thing is incredible. It's watery but absorbs really fast.
I also would like to add that you should wait around a minute after every product you apply to your face to ensure the product is absorbed into your skin. It might feel annoying to wait but you'll get used to it. ALWAYS apply facial oil last. Okay goodbye

I'm on the third bottle of Cosrx Advanced Snail Mucin. Though it sits on the skin, I've been using it religiously (hoping it'd improve my skin in the long run) because I guess I was infected by its viral popularity. I'm "deinfecting" my skincare products... :p
Soo, thanks for the lovely video.

I like the hero cosmetics sunscreen as a nice convenience option. I think the USA has made some good innovation in terms of mineral spf, because we are so behind the game on approved chemical uv filters.

the cosrx is slimy frfr T.T I did some google search and it say snail mucin contain glycolic acid which is an AHA. i think that's why they claim to help pigmentation? but the aha in snail mucin is prolly weaker than an actual aha toner

When you said the snail mucin didn’t work for you I was like “nooooooo!” 😆 It works okay on my face but where it really gets the job done for me is on my hands/knees/elbows where I tend to get super dry, flaky patches because it absorbs quickly with no greasy feeling. I’ve also used it on my legs to keep from getting bumps after shaving.

The fact that science has not established proof that an ingredient has benefits does not debunk. If a claim is madeAND through scientific testing the results prove it unfounded or to damaging, that would be proof.

I think with sticky products like the mucin one you have to apply less product on your face. My tip is to rub it on your hands before patting your face. That way my skin absorbes those products very well

I usually don't comment but i also recently discovered Cosrx products that just started getting to Romania and also affordable price wise , i was so excited to try their toner but however it makes my skin burn every time i've tried using it , it's the AHA7 Whitehead power liquid , it's supposed to exfoliate the skin leaving a clear bright skin , so i guess it's not for everyone , not saying their products are not great but yeah , even tho this video is one year old i just came across it and was happy to relate . On the pro side i love their Aloe sun screen and rice night mask , they worked best for me .

Didn't like the snail mucin either. Couldn't get on board with the texture too. 😅
I have oily skin, and while it didn't break me out, it didn't do much period. It is for sure moisturizing so i ended up putting the rest on my dry legs and feet just to finish up the bottle, but if i were to put something that would just hydrate my face, i'd rather use a product that doesn't leave me feeling.. icky. 😂

3or4 years ago i bought the cosrx snail mucin and it didnt work for me. when i use it, it does not absorb into my skin and when i use moisturizer it kind da pilling so i stop after 1 bottle. then after it was getting hyped again, i try it again. but this time my skincare routine is solidified. i use chemical exfoliant and retinol now. on days i dont exfoliate/retinol i use this snail mucin and it works. i layer it with cosrx propolis toner - snail mucin - torriden serum - moistirizer. and all of these product absorbs into my skin beaitifully and i love it.i wake up with glow and radiant skin. and the snail mucin helps me to reduce my pigmentation and even out my skin texture. but what works for me does not works for everyone i guess. ps i have oily and dehydrated skin

I’m almost done w my 1st bottle of cosrx snail dual radiance essence and with consistent use it has helped my dry flaky acne prone skin(I’m on tretinoin) and hyperpigmentation - maybe it’s the niacinamide! Love it as a one stop product, feels a little bit like a serum. I find it works best when I use only one pump and this way it lasts awhile. Never tried the OG snail essence though! Loved the video as always ❤

Okay, don’t come at me, but I don’t like some of Cosrx’s cult-favourites. The snail essence, the bha liquid, the overnight rice mask, I didn’t like them all. Don’t get me wrong they didn’t break me out or anything, but they just didn’t do anything for me either. It was just meh you know? Some of them have textures that I really don’t like. The rice mask, it couldn’t absorb nicely and always left this greasy film on my face that eventually pilled (yes, I waited a while before putting anything on top). Glad to see I’m not the only one who dislike these products haha
