That lift... I am going to Whistler first time ever in mid august and need to ride this trail but dear god the heights on the lift look nuts (judging from the other videos, when it goes over the crest and is like 100 ft + high!). I don't know how I'm gonna handle that, lol. Would you and Hannah do it again?? Cheers!
This year we took the 2nd gondola up from Whistler Village to Una Moss, and then rode down to the Creekside Village. It wasn't quite as high as the Peak, but it was still the longest continuous downhill run I have ever made. We didn't have a lot of time that day, so, we didn't want to slow down, but about 3/4 of the way down I thought I was going to either pass out or throw up LOL Now I see why people ride 160mm enduro bikes, because my 200mm DH rental bike with a really low seat made that long descent feel like 100 miles of berms. I totally wasn't prepared for standing up for that long on the bike.
