Few points on Aditya L1, Chandrayaan 4, Samudrayaan, Mangalyaan 2, ISRO Space Station and Gaganyaan:
Aditya L1.
1. Aditya L1 is a spacecraft being designed and developed by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) to study the solar atmosphere, solar magnetic storms, and their impact on the environment around Earth.
2. It will be inserted in a halo orbit around the L1 point between the Earth and the Sun, where it will study the Sun from a unique vantage point.
3. The mission was initially envisaged as a small satellite with a coronagraph to study the solar corona, but its scope has since been expanded to become a comprehensive solar and space environment observatory.
4. Aditya L1 is expected to launch in early September 2023.
5. The spacecraft will carry seven payloads, four of which will directly view the Sun from the L1 point, while the remaining three will carry out experiments to study the solar wind, coronal mass ejections, and other phenomena.
Chandrayaan 4.
1. Chandrayaan 4 is a planned lunar mission by ISRO, which will follow the successful Chandrayaan 2 mission.
2. The mission is expected to launch after Chandrayaan 3, which is scheduled for launch in 2024.
3. The objectives of Chandrayaan 4 include studying the lunar surface, mineralogy, and geology, as well as searching for water and other resources on the Moon.
Samudrayaan.
1. Samudrayaan is a proposed deep-sea exploration mission by ISRO to study the ocean floor and its biodiversity.
2. The mission is still in the planning stages, and no launch date has been announced yet.
3. The objectives of Samudrayaan include studying the origin and evolution of the seafloor, as well as searching for microbial life and other resources in the deep sea.
Mangalyaan 2.
Mars Orbiter Mission 2, also known as Mangalyaan 2, is India's second interplanetary mission planned by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO). Here are a few points on the mission:
1. Mangalyaan, also known as Mars Orbiter Mission, is India's first interplanetary mission, which was launched in 2013.
2. The spacecraft was designed to study Mars' surface features, morphology, mineralogy, and atmosphere.
3. The mission was initially planned to last for six months, but it has been extended multiple times, and the spacecraft is still operational as of August 2023.
ISRO Space Station.
