It's implayed in the show that his hate to Mark is because the memories ofthe other Levis that are merged with his mind. In the comic he gets mad cause Mark literally was there, without feuther development.
I hate when some characters whole motivation is enterely based on a missunderstanding, it just feels dumb and stressing, like you can end it all by just explaining it for 20 seconds, but obviously never gets to that because otherwise the plot cannot progress, definitively my least favorite character

Angstrom's story is so tragic - normally villains are assholes or, at best, normal people who end up doing evil things. But Angstrom wasn't normal or evil, he was GOOD and wanted to do GOOD for billions of people, making his turn to evil doubly tragic. That he repented and changed his ways, only to end up getting taken to another dimension moments later, is almost as sad. I hope we do get to see him do some good in the TV show. It would suck if all we saw from him was 99% hate and anger, like in the comics.

He made this fear a reality and it would have not happened if he left well enough alone and despite this it did help in developing the character into a better version of himself but this is not just being a real hero but a part of life also
I love how these comics gives all villains a chance to redeem themself. Those who redeem themselves can be killed by other unredeemable villains (Nolan, Levy, Anissa) or live being trusted but not always forgived (Kregg, Thula, Vidor, Lucan, lots of other Viltrumites). Those who are unredeemable will have a brutal and painful death (Thragg, Conquest).

They should definitely perfect this. I think they can make this scene work, but they need to be REAL careful with what words they choose for Eve's dialogue. We already saw that simply calling him out on his hypocrisy, like Debbie did, will only trigger Angstrom Levy,making him explode with the anger of his 800+ versions combined. So I personally think they should make Eve focus on pointing out the futility of obsessing with revenge. 1 - it made him abandon his original, altruistic goals. 2 - by not seeking revenge for Rex, Eve can concentrate on her family, friends, planet and things that make her and those she loves happy. The problem will be making the dialogue sound believable. Real. This is *a pregnant woman,* who is *unable to use her powers, HELPLESS,* as she feels the pressure of an absolute maniac holding her hostage. She's gonna be very nervous at the situation, so her VA will have her work cut out for her to deliver.

From what this Short is showing, Eve's arguments centered on two things, mainly: 1 - she reminded Angstrom Levy that he originally had altruistic goals. Goals to help improve planet Earth on this and all dimensions. *Plans that he abandoned **_because_** of his obsession with revenge.* 2 - she reveals to him that Eve has as much of a reason for wanting revenge on Angstrom, because of Rex's death. Something he even expects and low-key dares her to. *But not only does she refuse revenge, she proceeds to calmly list all the important things that she will have not obsessing over vengeance:* a happy family, a life with friends, helping make the world a better place, and so on and so forth.
