my fav one is the Patagonia Argentina one "Ice" becuase I've been there and gone to all the places in ur video, it felt surreal irl. u captured it in a very beautiful way.
How? How does this work so extremely well? The colors, every sound is placed carefully and each person featured in the shots looks like they're starring in a high budget movie while they're just going about their daily lives. Every person featured in combination with their surroundings, automatically created a new narrative that feel like the foundation for a whole new movie, every time. You tell the story of a place and its people so extremely well without ever directly interacting with the people. Truely unique, this is top notch story telling in the hardest way possible, this is art. Thankyou.
Its amazing what you can gather from any place on earth with a keen and patient, well trained eye. These shots were very very deliberate. Gawx is, IMO, a master of Film craft! And i really don't say that lightly, these shots and of course the delicious sounds that accompany them are absolutely brilliantly seen, sought and selected. Thank you Gawx 2 for your wonderful contribution to our world. Your creative talent will only even get better... So good =)
Some truly stellar frames here, man. Would love to see what a feature film from you would feel like. There’s already some intense emotion in these static shots.
ive lived in Japan for more than 25 years and yet this video makes me feel like ive never really known the true beauty of my own country. thank you Gawx
Japan in 3 minutes. This is gorgeous and I agree. My bestfriend and I moved to Japan after college. That's 15 years ago and now we're married, living in an apartment by a river lined with sakura trees. This place... it's not perfect but it's one of the closest compared to other places. It's peaceful, convenient, beautiful, affordable. Wife and I have decided to stay here for life.
the thing i adore most about him is that he truly makes these places his own. and the juxtapositions in this film had such seamless transitions, it's so gentle on the mind. you keep outdoing yourself, it's genuinely impressive. keep it up gawx

You know what I appreciate about this the most. You're still and observant. You let the camera just be, and let the world in. It's as close to honest filmmaking as you can get. Thank you for that. Sound design is beautiful as well.
i am in love with how (idk if its intentional) you've made the more serene frames coincide with the piano and the more hectic ones to the strings. especially since by the end there is a mixture of both the piano and the strings, and there are shots of people being at peace in a hectic city. the music and the interplay between the frames made my day. (youre my role model by the way, i need you to know that)
Welcome to Japan always looking forward to great videos I'm very happy because I didn't expect to see Japanese videos. Thank you for sharing your lovely memories
This is easily the best Gawx video. I particularly love the shot at 0:57 where the man is staring at the Genbaku Dome, I've been there before and seeing it in person is very moving, I felt like I was reliving the moment in that shot. Really beautiful work.
This is absolutely beautiful. It shows the two sides of Japan, the modern, fast moving, & the more traditional, quiet side. Great music choice to accompany it too.
I don’t know how you’ve done this, but the way you are able to incorporate the live sounds in with the music is amazing, I’m not sure if this is inattention but at 1:53, the blue street light beats to the sound of the orchestra which is so cool, and the way you are able to tell the story of the intense city vibe and the chill and peaceful country/jungle is amazing. Hands down as you said one of your best videos yet, keep it up bro
The rural side of Japan seems like the perfect place to live in. So much beauty, calm, respect from people, healthy and clean spaces... man, what a show.
Many stories were told by each frame, i can imagine the life of each person featured in this masterpiece, the colors the music everything about it makes these stories better and better, a 3 min short movie was more interresting than many MANY 3hrs movies i have seen. Thank u gawx for your hard work

Nice I can see why it's your favorite I like the one instrument plus nature music and how you go from city to nature and how people enjoy both good job
The editing here particularly, is pristine. Gawx continues to inspire me to shoot more. When I start a Gawx video, I press my headphones in so I can hear better and sit back up straight in my chair to get absolutely blown away. Beautiful frames. Thank you for sharing.
I'm just completely blown away by the level of production of this video. It feels like a love letter. It's sometimes hard to describe why we find beauty in the things that we do, but if someone ever wanted me to accurately define beauty, this video would be a fair substitute for the meaning behind any words I might say.
I initially tried to figure out which movie this video bore resemblance to, yet I guess it's just cinematic enough to justify its own existence. Meticulously framed, beautiful color tones and immersive photography, I'm actually flabbergasted!
I like how well the music and film mesh together. The strings in the new busy city, the piano in the old peaceful countryside. 2 extremes, existing in one place harmoniously.
GORGEOUS!!!! It's not just the touristy 'Tokyo' and the cliche manga/anime and all. THIS is (albeit a snippet) a true experience of how the land of the rising sun is.
Having just gotten back from Japan after spending 3 weeks there this video brought me right back from the sights to the sounds, really amazing video you truly captured the essence of Japan in every aspect.
I remember gawx making art videos with crazy movement everywhere.. watching him capture beautiful static frames really shows how far he has come in this inspirational journey
You made me cry, dude. That was an absolutely amazing video! You've captured Japan perfectly. ❤ It made me feel very nostalgic about my life there. I look forward to seeing more of your videos!
The colour grading, the composition, the furtive little moments you're able to capture. This is some really beautiful work. Honestly, I hope you start making feature films because I could stare at this stuff for hours. Who needs a script? 😄
I was very impressed with the video, very nice. I could watch it for a long time with all the beautiful scenes. Thank you for capturing the new charm of Japan with a sensitivity that we Japanese do not have.
i just returned home in the Netherlands after a 3 week trip through Japan. of all the countries i've been trough in my life i've never seen anything like Japan. the people, culture, architecture, city's, shops, cars, temples and castles... are like from another world. i can't describe the feelings i felt walking through the city's and nature there its like walking through a movie. What amazed me is how you make a a crowded city full of people into something so small and little. This video embodies calmness so much because of that.
I'm not a dramatic person, but I quite literally gasped out loud when I saw/heard the transition at 0:58. I find your videos so mesmerising man, I always bump up the quality and watch it on full-screen. Keep up the amazing work dude!
Stunning. No words can explain the stateliness of the video with its atmosphere perfectly. I've been captivated your footage styles(Stately, Classical, Symmetric etc.) since I've found the "Summer in Europe". I think this I never liked any video as much as this one. The music, the color grading, the shots, the ambience sounds, the people, everything fits so well. It translates the vibe of japan just perfect. Wish I was there right now :')
I love that you visited my favorite city in Japan, Hiroshima! 💕 Your cinematic storytelling is both ephemeral and timeless, shimmering in the mind's eye long after the last note and frame. Beautiful ✨
This is gorgeous. I was also in Japan this August and watching this felt like a recap of my own trip, but I loved seeing the angles you chose to shoot from and the juxtapositions you captured that I missed. Beautifully done!
