While welding 8mm and 16mm plate
Electrode size = t/2 + 1
Here what thickness we need to take 8mm or 16mm ?

As far as I knows electrode size upto 5mm available in market. So for 16mm selecting electrode if we use the equation E=16/2+1=9mm.. How we can get that size electrode
